UNIVERSE is my favourite Kuu album, it's awesome!
The cover album is really good as well, but I guess it only appeal to people who like older J-Pop and classics in general.

it appeals to me though, and I hate older J-pop and classics lol. I even listened to the original songs on the album and thought they were really bad. Kuu's versions are so different to the originals. imo they sound like they could be her original songs.

You're the exception then.
Kuu did a really good job, all the songs have her own touch, I agree, and the vocals are awesome as well (especially misono's song, I get goosebumps every time I listen to it).
But they are just covers of older songs and that's probably enough for some people to be uninterested.

I'm another exception I guess. I haven't heard any of those songs before and I'm not planning to. I just generally don't like listening to old music.

But on the other hand the cover album is really awesome
