I think AT10 will be her first Blu-ray tour. It seems rather worthy of the format after all~

Yes, there is always a way to make something even better, improvement all the way, but the question is if people perhaps might be already really happy with what they got so I can absolutely understand that not everyone is willing to follow the new trends of the industry.

Quality is more a thing of well-done content, too...

I want Ayu to release in blu-ray but I'm perfectly fine if she doesn't.
I'm not one of those "OHMYGOD DVD NO WAY, I'LL GET EYE CANCER, IT BURNS" people.

The main problem of Ayu and blu-ray is her sales. B'z released Blu-Ray this year but their dvd sales are bigger than Ayu's single sales nowadays, so I don't think it's a good idea for avex to release blu-ray edition when dvd+blu-ray sales will be ~60K

This clip from CDTV gave me some hope that AT10 will be released in bluray.

Not that I don't like DVDs but seeing an Ayu concert on Bluray would be so awesome
I watched Ayu's TV performances on my HDTV and it was so magical and detailed

^yea..if AT10 is released in blu-ray it will be so..wow~
its not about sales that ayu is still not on blu-ray,
look at MISIA's dvd sales, its 5times or even 10times lesser than ayu.. and her latest dvd only sold 4k+..

I don't have a fancy TV, so I really don't care :p haha. But yeah Bluray will be the standard someday, we will get Ayu bluray releases, we'll just have to wait to see when we'll get them.

Also, somewhere down the road, we'll probably get a box of all her tours / PV's in Bluray.

they'd better not do the pvs, coz they all were shot in SD.

yep...i think we will never have all her old pvs in HD resolution, maybe all her videos are filmed on 35mm but after the digital transfer for the computer edition the final resolution is 720x480. (no HD)

even her last broadcasted PV in HD are just upscaled versions from the standart DVD edition.

we have chance in the future to have only her latest concert in HD blu-ray, and maybe her latest video clips

Until I get my PS3, then I honestly don't give a **** if she never gets a blu-ray release because I won't be able to watch it anyway.

Besides Japanese DVD's are expensive enough, I can't imagine forking out the extra cash for a blu-ray unless it was a special blu-ray+DVD+PB+extras package like Black Rock Shooter was (still hoping to get my hands on it hehe T.T).

I have a PS3 but no blue ray movies yet XD Is it a huge difference from normal movies on a DVD player?

I've had a PS3 since 2008, so naturally I'm very eager for her to release her concerts in blu-ray format. DVD sucks so bad compared to that.

I hope she will too, and SOON.

if you have your HD tv and blu-ray player, yes..is a huge difference.
because in HD screens you can see all the imperfections, blurried and compresion of standar DVD discs

a blu-ray Disc look exquisit in a HD TV!

Ok I'll have to get some blu-ray movies now! I have noticed on my TV that some of the HD isn't the clearest, thanks
