^ayu trance 3 came out 2003. they've had 7 years to work on it, trust me, I'm sure they've been contemplating it for a while. The ahs/twitter thing doesn't really make sense to me. I feel like they've been planning it already. How many artists, after not releasing a trance album in 7 years just go "ok!" after someone mentions it on twitter? There's no way it was that easy unless they already had the idea in my head.

^ I think they had contemplated it, but with all that's gone on in the last few years - 10th anniversary, 50th single, etc etc - it was probably the last thing on their minds, another remix album(s). I think another BEST was probably more thought about

But when fans probably started asking about it, it probably refreshed the idea and they probably discussed it more. I mean, 7 years is a long time for trance fans and I guess that after all these ballads, maybe they thought it'd be a nice change?

^seriously. There really isn't any reason why they would be thinking of SPECIFICALLY Ayu Trance, why would they?

The era of trance has been long gone, and she's been preoccupied with the other album, and the tour, and everything.

It's not like they have to do that much...they get other people to do the remixes lol

How could take it take a professional DJ to make a remix? A few weeks at most?

Well yes, but then they have to send it to avex and avex will say yes, we'll take it, or no, change these parts. It could go back and forth for a while.

it's like composing an original song. DJs are given a vocal track, and that is it, they literally have to start from scratch and work around that. How long does it take someone to compose a song? That's basically how long it takes, only you already have some samples to use like beats and synth sounds.
