Ori Star unveils results for their poll, “What’s your favorite song by your favorite artist?”

Weekly entertainment magazine Ori Star recently announced the results of its latest survey, asking for their fans’ favorite song by their favorite artist.

Arashi top’s track was “Monster”, the theme song to the drama “Kaibutsu-Kun” which stars member Ohno Satoshi. When asked why they chose this song, one fan replied, “I can’t help but love the impact of the song and their cool dancing.” To round off the top three tracks for Arashi, ”Monster” was followed by “truth” and “Troublemaker”.

Other favorites include Ikimonogakari’s hit song “Arigatou”, which earned three times the number of votes as their debut song, “SAKURA”. Tohoshinki’s first song as a two-member unit, “Why? (Keep Your Head Down)”, also ranked highly on the list.

just read from tokyograph's twitter that ryo will be in a new drama! he plays as a father in "Inu wo Kau to Iu Koto". i assume this drama is for the spring season, but i'm not sure. hopefully someone can post the article soon!

i feel like ryo should get another role like "sousuke" again, LOL. well, not exactly. but something more interesting. a father role seems too innocent for ryo, haha.

Nishikido Ryo to be the lead star for upcoming drama series

Kanjani8/NEWS member Nishikido Ryo will be the lead star for upcoming drama series, “Inu wo Kau to iukoto ~Sky to Wagaya no 180 nichi~“, which will start in April on TV Asahi (Every Friday at 11:15 PM).

In the drama, Nishikido will play as a father of two kids, while Mizukawa Asami plays his wife.



It will be a home drama in which Yuji (Nishikido) lives at the foot of the Tokyo Sky Tree. Yuji has been feeling his pent-up discontent toward his job, and his relationship with his wife has also not been well. However, the family’s relationship starts changing after they find a stray dog named “Sky Tree.”

This will be the first time that Nishikido will play the role of a father, and he said with deep emotion thinking about his own father, “My father already had three kids when he was 26 years old, which is the same age as me now. I have finally reached the age.”

Nishikido also said, “It is said that shooting with an animal and kids is quite hard, but I think we can do it! Moreover, I have Mizukawa-san, who I have co-starred with several times before, and who I’m comfortable in talking to. So I don’t feel any anxiety toward this work.”

■Pop star Namie Amuro will collaborate with NEWS star Tomohisa Yamashita in her upcoming album. The two will sing a love song titled “UNUSUAL”. Amura had said she wanted to make a song with a male artist who could sing and dance, and that she had gotten the most inspiration from watching Yamashita’s “One in a million” performance. It is the first time Amuro has performed with a Johnny’s talent. The video has already been shot.

Yamapi arrives in Korea



Popular Japanese idol, actor and singer Yamapi (Yamashita Tomohisa) landed in Seoul, South Korea on the 23rd.
Over 200 fans crowded around Kimpo Airport in Seoul to greet the Japanese Star. The fans were waiting at the entrance for his arrival since early in the morning.
Yamapi will appear on Mnet ‘M-Countdown’ on the 24th and release his first official solo album ‘SUPERGOOD, SUPERBAD’ in Korea on March 2nd.

I don't get why JE artists who go to Korea perform in M!Countdown, they have the crappiest mics .. Music Core is x493826132 better, plus he would meet shinee's Onew and Minho who host the show .

I'm actually glad that Yamapi performed PARTY DON'T STOP , because it's 1 track I enjoy listening to quite a lot from the SUPERBAD side but something like ONE GIRL if not Blood Diamond & let alone TOMO would have a much more ace choice <3

OMG! that song is so amazing! thank god he performed it, lol. i can't wait to go home just to watch it.

edit: again i got the lyrics wrong, LOL. i thought yamapi says "rock your party! rock your party!" in the beginning of the chorus. but it's really "rock your body!". and "lick him like mayonnaise"..... hilarious! i thought there were more japanese words in the song, but after seeing lyrics displayed, there's more english. anyway, yamapi was lookin' GOOD! and i loved the whole performance! but i wish he would have danced a bit. just standing is fine, though. he looks good doing that, too.

LOL yeah some if not most of the songs found on SUPERBAD , the lyrics are like o_O

i'm so slow! am i the only one who thinks TOMO is short for "tomoshisa"? i just realized that today, LOL. i wonder if the song is about yamapi in some way, if the title is short for his name.

XD The only song from SUPERBAD that I'd probably listen to on a frequent basis is Touch You. That song is amazing.
