Kou is pretty in that CM. The preview sound nice. I love Kou's ballad so much!
They already announces the next album. Really fast. Northern Lights is a nice title.
the cover looks pretty. but I prefer the promo pic.

Shibasaki will also be embarking on a nationwide tour, “Kou Shibasaki Live Tour 2011″, beginning on September 22nd. Those who purchase a copy of “CIRCLE CYCLE” will receive a lottery ticket, which can be entered into a raffle for tickets to one of her performances.

And I love the limited edition cover. But the cover for wish was really amazing. And Mukei Spirit - so cute.

Oh good news about the album. I like the title.^^ the covers are amazing. I hope we'll have HQ soon. They make me to want making graphics with them.^^

i guess "Northern Lights" was a fake title, haha. "CIRCLE CYCLE" is so much better!

is track 9 supposed to be titled "SayonaLove", btw? to me it looks like it could be a typo for "Sayonara".

The album is ready for preorder at yesasia and I just preordered. It'll be a present to myself.

The track is really called Sayonalove. Kind of like LOVEppears.

Love is always written RA BU in Furigana. So I think it's supposed to sound like SA YO NA RA BU!

Anyway the track was released before.

Some track titles are cute. Aine Kleine, haha that sounds like "Eine Kleine" which is German for A Little One (female)....funny.

Shibasaki will also be selling original charity t-shirts to aid reconstruction efforts for the damage caused by the Tohoku earthquake. The T-shirts will use the visuals from “CIRCLE CYCLE”, and it is said that everything from the shape to the design have been meticulously crafted. There will be a total of 22 versions in both white and black, costing 3800 yen each, and pre-orders will be accepted beginning on the 15th.

Kou has her own twitter since a few weeks ago. She had a live presentation a few weeks ago via U-stream for CIRCLE CYCLE (from Bulgaria where she was filming 47 Ronin). When I watched the stream I knew it was the right decision to order this album. It's just great pop music. Yes, CIRCLE CYCLE is an amazing album. There are only 13 tracks. Love Paranoia felt longer for some reason. If you have any money to spare at all just go and buy this album. You won't regret it.

I've just listened to Kou for to first time (Mukei Spirit) and I'm very much in love with the song. I'm going to listen to Circle Cylcle (since that's the most recent album and has most likely a similar style?), but can someone recommend me some of her older stuff? I'm not that into ballads, though hers don't seem to be that boring, but maybe she has some good upbeat stuff too? Thanks in advance

^I've always liked her ballads the most out of all her songs tbh. I haven't even listened to CIRCLE CYCLE myself yet. I'm still waiting until I buy it. But if you're gonna download that one anyways, I guess it doesn't matter. These are my favorites separated into type. I love all of these:

Upbeat: ラバソー～lover soul～, よくある話～喪服の女編～, nØw, 忘却, 祈り, 泪月 -oboro- (by RUI), KISSして (by KOH+)

Relaxing: 浮雲, 眠レナイ夜ハ眠ラナイ夢ヲ

...and I know you didn't want ballads particularly, but these ones are amazing and definitely worth a look. They're all from her first album:

I haven't listened to Circle cycle yet either xD
I'm still kinda in love with Love Paranoia.. I think it's excellent, a perfect balance of styles

and Kou has amazing upbeat songs, I absolutely love them

while her ballads are really something special too, just gorgeous
