They shortened the instrumental parts and one of the verses, it was not full, but there were no full parts(verses, choruses) taken out so it appeared to be full.

They do it for time reasons, every artist on the show means more viewers basically so they try to put lots of performances, interviews and commercials in the 30 mins or hour they got. If they shorten every performance by a minute that usually means time for one more performer, or maybe two sometimes.
