seriously? I really think the chorus is the worst part of the AO version of You were...
it completely strips it of the epicness the original song has.
well, just another reason for me to love and appreciate the original song by comparing it to that.

Don't need to remind anyone here that taste is the most relevant thing, but yeah. I loved both the original and this ver. The chorus especially. The little chimes and barely audible flute and just the instruments in general were perfect to me. It wasn't super mellow or epic, but it was a nice mix and very well made imo.

My problem with You were... is that the chorus gives this feeling of trying to be epic but fails. It's just like she's shouting and you get the sense this is supposed to be an important part but it just doesn't come off well. It's really forced and that's why I cannot stand it.

I love them all. I don't know..I've been losing interest in Ayu for a while, but this has just, reminded me of all the memories I have for her older tracks, the nostalgia was overwhelming. I felt also, like I was listening to her songs for the first time. Perfection. I sound like a stan I know, but I'm so happy I love these albums. If they'd been disappointing, I would of felt like crying.

Worth the wait.

OMG I LOVE EUROBEAT AND TRANCE SFM

HOUSE was.. boring, AOV was decent but some songs were horrible.. like Trust. I mean some arrangements were too jazz/lounge for me lol

But damn EUROBEAT and TRANCE

Awh no, it's cool someone feels the same as me

And "stan" isn't actually "Ayu lingo", it's a general term to mean someone who refuses to say or think anything that makes their chosen idol - such as Ayumi - is anything but godlike.

eg. "SHE CAN NEVER DO WRONG. ANYONE WHO DOESN'T LIKE HER IS AN IDIOT." blah blah blah

can i talk about how flawless the "kanariya" AOV is? it. is. amazing.
and i love the AOV of "forgiveness" as well.

i listened to ayu-trance 4. it's pretty good. love the new "Far away" remix!

i haven't listed to HOUSE or ayu-ro yet.

YES! I mean..i miss Ayu's voice, new songs and all that. It's kinda been a while actually and i havent been listening to her until now...suddenly all the songs from the 50 singles she has released..it feels really..epic that they are remade and re-released (an effort i truly appreciate now). i honestly didnt care for remix albums..because i noe im gonna get over it pretty soon but maybe not this time

All that I have heard so far I really enjoyed. Nothing bored me, and nothing really blew me away just yet. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to them all yet, going to finish later today and post again with some favorites, besides the ones that were already leaked and listened to.

I haven't heard the AO version yet, but I like the way she sang You were... in the orgel (sp?) version!

Exactly one song of every single was remixed, she used to release more singles so there's many old songs.

Like House and of course ayu-ro-mix the most
ayu-ro-mix is the best out of all

dissapointed with Acoustic Version

of course best remixes are from 2000-2001

at least I like the choice of songs remixed, I'm glad there are more old songs

the best acoustic abum EVER is MY STORY Classical, I hoped back then Ayu held a concert for this

Yes kanariya is beautiful. I love the piano in the beginning. Well the whole song is superb actually but it starts out so haunting.
