omg comeback!!!!!! new song Roly Poly coming on July 1st!!!

Girl group T-ara has revealed that they’ll be making a Korean comeback next month before they jet off to Japan for their debut.

The girls will be working with Shinsadong Tiger and Choi Kyu Sung for their comeback track, Bo Peep Bo Peep 2 – "Roly Poly"! The song is described to be an ’80s retro track with a disco style, which was inspired by John Travolta’s image.

A total of 20 dancers will be joining the girls on stage to recreate that disco feel. T-ara will bring back popular dance moves from the ’70s and ’80s in their choreography, including the hustle, diamond dance, and the ABC dance.

Core Contents Media explained, “T-ara’s new album, ‘John Travolta Wannabe‘, is a concept about missing John Travolta from the movie, ‘Saturday Night Fever‘. We’ve emphasized the charms of disco and retro styles.”

The album is scheduled for release on July 1st, so stay tuned for more updates!

Here are some more details:
• The song is about no matter what, even if you fall, you will always rise up again.
• The new song will be somewhat reminiscent of the Bee Gees "Night Fever" song.

There's also a possibility they'll have a second track that has a completely opposite concept like in the past there was Lies/Wanna Play, Bo Peep/Like the First Time, Crazy Because of You/I'm Really Hurt, and Yayaya/Why Are You Like This


A lot of people are worried about it because of the album name but no matter how silly or out there their concepts are they always have solid tracks (to me, at least) and even Yayaya had some good points, the instrumental was really good

It hasn't been announced yet but I'd assume it'll be a mini album since they plan on going to Japan soon, right after they finish promoting for this. If it were a full album, then a repackaged version would also be likely and the promotions would be stretched out for another couple months and I don't think they're planning on that right now. Plus Davichi and the boys from Co-ed are still waiting to release things

Jiyeon's latest pix are getting lots of attention

T-ara’s Jiyeon parodies MBC’s “The Greatest Love”



T-ara’s Jiyeon is lovesick over Dok Go Jin (played by Cha Seung Won) from MBC’s “The Greatest Love“.

On June 11th, Jiyeon tweeted the photos above with the caption, “On the way home after ‘Music Core‘~~ Recharge!!!! Without the photo (of Dokko Jin) it’s less cool.”

The picture, which shows Jiyeon with a bottle of Vitamin Water against her cheek, parodies a scene from the romantic comedy drama “The Greatest Love”, where Goo Ae Jung (played by Gong Hyo Jin) cools her face with a bottle of Vitamin Water that has a photo of Dok Go Jin on it. “Recharge” refers to Dok Go Jin’s constant need to see Goo Ae Jung in order to recharge his spirits.

Jiyeon also tweeted to fellow member, Eunjung, “Potatoes are for cultivating (raising). As you cultivate, one day a flower will bloom,” which brought about much laughter.

Meanwhile, T-ara will be making a comeback with the title track "Roly Poly" on July 1st.
