I don't see anything wrong with her experimenting with R&B or Hip Hop. But if she really goes in the Hip Hop route, I hope a collab with Namie or Zeebra etc. ANYONE BUT LIL WAYNE!!!

Absolutly my thought.
Ayu is the empress of POP.. not of R&B or HIP-HOP. And for me.. her voice don't fit's to Hip-Hop or R&B.. I think.

Ayu's current vocal style just won't do for Hip hip and RnB music.

I'd like her to do collabs with GACKT, the HIATUS, ONE OK ROCK etc. maybe even Remioromen or BUMP OF CHICKEN.

Excited!! It's been sooo long since Ayu has had an official mini album, and ZOMG Milla costume!! Waaaanttt. That's probably my favorite costume from an Ayu live too.

I would die and seriously probably puke all over the place. That would be the most disgusting thing ever if she went that route. Not to mention all those Japanese Hip-Hop artists just seem so trashy to me, lol.

Haha, a friend of mine is in the Hip Hop scene, already made an album with a friend, all on his own, cut out every single cover by hand for every single copy and I can tell you: a popstar turning into hip hop is always unreliable and trashy.

Some genres are not made for popstars. It's the same as if Ayu would go metal. Just don't fit with her way of making "music".

That's the reason why I pretty much disliked "Dream ON". It seemed so staged and wannabe. I don't now much about Urata, I just say this regarding Ayu's part on it since I do not care for Urata.

I doubt Ayu would turn into a hardcore rapper. Usually when she experiments it's with light touches of the influence. I see nothing wrong with her trying out a new sound. Like I said before, Ayu doesn't make bad music so I see no reason why her trying out hip-hop and/or R&B would be bad. Some of her remixes have an R&B feel to it and I find them better than the original sometimes.
