You don't do enough research on J-Hip-Hop artists if you think they're all trashy.

Anybody can do R&B. So you're comparison of that with metal just doesn't work. Not many people who are already pop stars can do metal (unless your Tila Tequila). But we're on the topic of R&B, not metal. Ayu can do R&B and pull it off. Look at "In The Corner" or that R&B mix of YOU on the remix album.

You guys just need to give it a chance. If you don't like it, then simply don't listen to it. I'm all up for Ayu experimenting. After all, she's always experimenting with new sounds. None of her albums sound similar.

Ayu has had metal influences in material such as talkin' 2 myself and it was FREAKING AMAZING! That heavy, badass guitar!

I said they seem so trashy, not that they all are. But hip-hop isn't my game and never was, unless Ku does it - it tends to grow on me then. Also, I hated in the corner and that remix.

I guess I don't mind Ayu trying new things - but I have always liked her style for what it was. Even when she's trying new things, it's still her own and has that Ayu feeling to it. I hate when artists change so drastically that they alienate their fanbase - the fanbase they built their career on. Especially when it's to gain more exposure through new fans while disregarding the old/current and what they have supported (not saying this toward Ayu, just saying in general I hate when artists do this - specifically Cascada's new album).

I want her to stick to what she's good at and if people don't like it then they shouldn't listen to it

It's a good thing Ayu doesn't listen to her fans

I always thought that hip-hop was a subculture and a dance, and rap was the music genre, lol, i dunno. I don't listen to any of it so I don't care.

Just because UN or JUNO is in her collab, you think that this will be a rap song, lol? It will be at least RNB but even if they will try out of rapping, then it will be just rnb for them.

Woah!! I'm so excited for this!! I might actually be in Japan in time for an album to be released~~ *v*

Do you think she'd perform the songs in the September part of her tour? Are those dates confirmed yet?

Most likely. I don't see her leaving out new material from a tour. I don't think she really has ever not included new material in a tour.

Same here. It gives it all more hype if she releases them gradually imo.

Ayu's always doing something different, why is everyone freaking out about her going down a certain "route" xD? No matter what FIVE sounds like, she'll eventually move onto something else. Love Songs sounds nothing like NEXT LEVEL which sounds nothing like Memorial address which sounds nothing like A Song for XX. It's only a matter of weathering out this release and waiting for her next .

Besides, you never know, it might just end up being amazing!

haha.
you are misunderstanding. more songs are welcome but they are complaining about the genre and / or featuring artist.

I'm not misunderstanding . I know why people are upset. But personally, what it boils down to is that it seems people would rather have 3 songs (without collaborations) than 5 songs (with 2 collaborations).

But anyway, it was said jokingly.
