I'll just be cautiously optimistic with the two collabs. I ended up liking Dream ON, but Naoya's voice can be a bit annoying at some parts of the song. I hope he won't go all "uuurgh" during the ballad.

People are always saying she's going down this route or that route. It all comes back to people that want her to do music exactly like she did about 7-8 years ago, which will not happen. Ayu has matured so much over the years and now she's always been keen on trying out new things. I'd be so happy if people would at least not critize music that isn't even out yet. I'm fine with people having opinions on the music she's already released. I love her experimenting with genres. The three albums she released before Love Songs are one of my three favorites ever.

Plural? I can't name a single Ayu R&B song to be honest. Dream ON at a stretch. Am I missing something really obvious?

Well, to me In The Corner, Real me, WE WISH, LOVE ~refrain~, kanariya and maybe Pride at some parts sound very R&Bish and I love them all. And she has few R&B remixes too (vogue "Kirari Natsu Ayu Mix" and YOU "Master of Funk R&B Mix" for example) which are amazing. :p

It doesn't matter if it's a ballad, R&B, POP, electric POP/R&B... imo, if ayu sings, i'll give it a try (but it doesn't mean that i like ALL ayumi songs).
