If I had money, I'd be buying clothes left and right. Accessories.. eh, not really. I'm not much of a bag type of girl. I don't really go for high fashion anyway (even if I did have the money) ..I'd try something really weird that would make me stand out.

Eh, I see a lot of American celebs walking around with a Louis Vittion (??) bag.. or something. I wouldn't pay $1000 for a freakin bag!!

<---*is so far from being up with recent fashion that LV could've come out a century ago and it'd be news to him*

I'm not surprised...Japanese people buy more LV handbags a year than the rest of the world combined...o.O;; Being a celeb like ayu means she can't be caught with something non-designer, can she. ^^

A thing I noticed...the LV site has english, french followed by chinese, japanese and korean...shows you how much asians love designer brands like LV...

That's like everyone here with their imitation Burberry bags... it's like an epidemic here. I only know two people who have the real thing, my aunt and my cousin [her BF bought it as a present for her]. Even my mum's got several imitation bags... it's a bit embarrassing...

Besides that not being shallow, Ayu has always been very high fashion and she was into LV and Burberry before they had their huge American burst of popularity. She wore both of them around the time of her debut when the average American person probably didn't know what either of them were.

Yea, I totally understand what you guys are saying. It's not that I don't, I do.
I'll take back the part about her being shallow...most of it anyways. I mean, of course, it still stuns me that people can be spending so much money on hand bags when they know that there are millions of Africans living on 25 cents a day. Has anyone ever seen that Rich Girls episode where Ally Hilfiger and her friend are just DYING to buy 400 dollar Steve Madden shoes, when just five minutes earlier they had heard that those 400 dollars can save one life? I guess just imagining Ayu like that makes me sick to my stomach.
But it's true that everyone does it. I'm sure even I do it. the world is just this way. Makes me so sad.

And I can't believe Ayu spent 35,000 dollars on Dior and LV stuff....I really hate girls who do that! She's like Paris Hilton--shallow! Omigosh, please don't tell me that's true, or else I swear I'll start to DISLIKE Ayu very, very much.

It's easy to say that when you are looking at someone in the spotlight, I think. I mean, you think "she has a lot of money, she should be spending it on saving other people!" But... who says she has to do that? It's her money, she earns it her way, and no one has the right to tell her what to do with it. And you are going on the assumption that she doesn't donate money and such to people less fortunate than her. Just because she buys an expensive bag, it doesn't mean that she's pissing all of her money away and not donating some to the poor. How do you know she doesn't? Maybe she does it privately... A truely kind person would not need anything in return for their actions, including recognition. As well as that, why does she have to donate her money to countries in the third world? Do YOU? If you do, that's great, but it's not fair to tell other people what they should or should not do, and then judge them for their decisions.

if she has the money, i dont see why she wouldnt/shouldnt spend it on nicer and more expensive things for herself...if you were the #1 artist of a major record company making tons of money, would you be walking around wearing 3 for $10 chinatown t-shirts? hmm.... about money not being spent on starving african children, it is NOT ayu's responsibility to end world hunger or save as many lives as she can. ayu's responsibility is ayu herself! as much as we all love ayu, shes human too. its only human nature to take care of yourself before others. she should be able to enjoy HER OWN LIFE from her success. i personally dont see anything wrong with her spending her hard earned money on things that she likes. in my opinion, LV looks great on AYU! of course, opinions are like bellybuttons... everyone has their own (and are entitled to it).

I agree with what everyone said about Ayumi should buy things she likes to collect, after all I plan I buying every offical Ayumi product out there! And I'm not mistaken Ayumi does donate some of her money to charity.
