[B'z] IT'S SHOWTIME!! 1st B'z thread

^I started my B'z journey in 1999 (when I was first introduced to J-Pop) with a song called "HOME". Didn't know about that until 2005 when I listen to either OCEAN or SPLASH! XDD In 2007, I bought MONSTER first and ACTION after that. I wasn't as big of a fan of them as I was today. It wasn't until I downloaded B'z The Best "ULTRA Pleasure" and listened to ultra soul that I became a the fan that I am today!

well you have to start somewhere in any artiste's music journey . For me , I'm glad I caught on B'z at the right place , at the right time

I know C'mon has not been officially released yet but I'm already wondering what they're going to do for their 50th single

^The way they celebrated their 20th anniversary! With a special named tour! XDD (Example: For their 20th anniversary, they did the "B'z LIVE-GYM Glory Days" tour.) Who knows? Maybe they'll surprise us with another mixture album! XDD

I would have preferred if they release their 50th single before C'mon , it will somehow make things more meaningful if you know what I mean :O

but ah well you can't have the best of everything

I will be spending the next few days listening to the new songs in C'mon . I don't need to do that for the singles , Homebound & C'mon since I already heard them haha

now's to concentrate on the other 9 songs in the album x)

Like for Dead End , I can detect MAGIC (the song) somewhere there while in Pilgrim , it's very MY LONELY TOWN ish

Last but not least , The Meister is probably from where long time no see left too :O

^Sayonara Kizu Darake no Hibi yo is DEFIANTLY leftover from Hadou! But I can hardly hear the MAGIC influence in Dead End, but MONSTER.

Actually I'm curious to know something

I know both Tak & Koshi have solo careers outside of B'z but how does Koshi's solo material differ from B'z ? :O

I mean , he's the one singing in both his solo & B'z so shouldn't it expected that there might be overlapping involve ?

Hope it's not an offensive question to ask ._.

^Koshi does the composing and some of the arranging with his solo when with B'z, Tak is the head honcho with the music.

I suppose Koshi has more music freedom in his solo career since Tak's not around to butt in haha

B’z’s new album, “C’mon” already tops the Oricon charts, sets another record

“C’mon”, the newest album of the popular rock band B’z, has already sold 112,000 copies on its first day and topped the Oricon Daily Album Ranking chart. Since their November 2009 release of their album “MAGIC” (sold 500,000 copies in total), they have placed first a total of 24 times on the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking. With this achievement, they broke their previous record for most albums topping the chart.

This album comprises of a total of 13 of their songs including a “Pepsi NEX” CM theme song, “Sayonara Kizudarake no Hibiyo” (sold 176,000 copies in total), “C’mon”, “Don’t Wanna Lie” (sold 214,000 copies in total), and ‘Sekai Suiei Shanghai 2011’ (‘Shanghai FINA 2011’) theme song, “ultra soul 2011”. The CD was be released in two editions: Limited Edition and Regular Edition. The Limited Edition CD additionally includes a DVD containing their music videos of “Sayonara Kizudarake no Hibiyo”, “C’mon”, and “Don’t Wanna Lie”.
