JKT 48 New sister group of AKB 48 from indonesia

^Yeah, thanks for mentioning that. It's the reason there's a handful of xxx48 groups in Japan already. It's to reach out to more fans locally by establishing theaters in different areas. That's their whole concept: "Idols you can meet".

Only girls that live in Indonesia, 13~18 years old, that don't have a contract with any agency.

Application period: till ~09/16.

And then, the standard: photo sessions, first selection, interview (last days of September) and final judging on dance and vocals (10/08 and 10/09)

It's official.

It'll be a group adapted to Indonesian culture and will make it's debut by the end of the year.

So if all goes well, they'll be the first overseas xxx48 group... should be very very interesting to see how they fare.
