But I would never attack or blame Ayu for that, though I agree she should take better care of her health.

Sorry, but those tweets made me absolutely disgusted. Life happens, people need to get the hell over it. Not everything in life can go perfectly. Unexpected things come up, mistakes happen. From the TA translations, it seems that Ayu was trying her best to make it back to Japan for the Music Station performance, so much to the point that she disregarded her health and fainted.

I don't think you guys get the gravity of this situation.

She may NEVER be invited to Music Station again, and she may never be invited to a music program again. She's cancelled twice in the past 3-4 years, and that's quite unacceptable for Japanese standards. It doesn't matter if you're sick or whatever, what they believe is that you have a duty to go to the music program and play. Playing on Music Station is kind of like an honour, so if you cancelled, it's not so good, for whatever reason. Another artist could have had their shot at performing. And I'm pretty sure, but I can't remember who, that there was an artist before who cancelled 2 or 3 times, and they were never seen on TV again because they couldn't be trusted.

THAT'S why the fans are upset, because they're afraid of this happening.

I think why they're so harsh is because this is not just another MS performance. It's the 25th anniversary so it's a big event (imagine a key player in soccer getting out of a world cup match due to sicknees). An as an artist going for a big event, she should take care of herself before the event. It's responsibility. Though, it's sad that anything could happen in the last min =/

I don't think that MS would ban Ayu from their program. I get that it is a possibility since it's a prestigious show but this was really out of her control completely. If it were someone else, I definitely could see the 'lifetime ban' happening though.

And as for other music shows, it's not like she's appeared on more then MUSIC STATION this year.... though she was on various shows for Love songs' promotion late last year.

When was the other time she canceled?

I think so - it was prior to Music Station Super Live 2008, which actually was the only one she cancelled...

oh my, I hope it won't happen seriously, I'm worried about it now... But she had only 1 cancel in the past, when she injured her hand, right? and no more?

it doesn't seem like she'll perform beloved at MSta eventually.. she's now focused on her tour (again t.t)
