How do I get a concert ticket?
I am currently studying in the Oita prefecture in Japan and will be here over the Xmas/New Years break.
I plan on going to Tokyo during Winter Break. How do I get a ticket for her Countdown Live 2011-2012 show? Is it still possible or am I too late. How much would it cost? Thanks! |

the way i did it was i went to Lawson's (which idk if you have them where you are but it's a konbini, like 7/11) and asked if they knew where to get concert tickets. they showed me how to use an automatic ticket kiosk-machine-type thing over in the corner, i found the concert i wanted, then paid at the register and they gave me the ticket. it was a lot easier than yahoo! auctions or anything online, although i think i did get hit with a fee.
as far as i know CDL is around 7500 yen...? (need to save up, i wanna go too~) good luck getting tickets~♥ |

The tickets in the Lawson machine (called "Loppi" btw) sells out like superfast. Once i stood ready 5 minutes before the Loppi machine even would start and on the minute it booted up at 10:00 I went in, found ayu's concert one minute later and when I was going to book my tickets they where already sold out. It's a reaaally hard way to get the tickets one.
If I was you I would either beg a nice japanese friend to buy a ticket trough Yahoo! Auctions.jp (since you pretty much must live in the country to register there) or go to a reseller ticket store when you arrive to Tokyo. My favourite option is actually a reseller store. You can choose seating of your liking (and can afford to) and get the ticket right in your hand. And I'm pretty sure tickets will be avaible when you arrive. I once bought a CDL ticket one hour before the show started (I did that cuz when the concert starts they just want to sell off the remaining tickets really fast so they lower their prices). Anywho, that is what I would have done. ![]()

No I didn't wait until the last second. I was there on the right day 5 minutes the tickets would start go on sale. But the ticket sold off really fast. Even in one minute both CDL concerts was sold out. Even though I had planned out everything so good (or at least that is what I thought) the tickets still got sold out the same minute they got on sale.
I think it's for two reasons: 1. CDL is only two shows instead of an Arena Tour with like 30+ shows = why they sell out so fast. 2. Ayumi Hamasaki is a safe brand to resell tickets = on the day (even on the minute) the tickets go out on sale all these resellers stand ready to buy up all the tickets. And they do. So if you really want to go to CDL, the easiest way is really either winn the lottery in TA, buy from Yahoo! Auctions or by from reseller stores.

^ You have to check the official website for the dates tickets go on sale. CDL11-12 is not announced yet, that's why there are no dates yet.
http://avexnet.or.jp/ayu/jp/schedule/index.html But I says that for CDL10-11 tickets went on sale on the 12th of December.

So I took some pictures of the Lawson Convince Store and the Loppi machine just to make sure this is the correct thing I'm looking for.
![]() ![]() ![]() So, know one here knows for sure when the tickets go on sale? Also, at the exact moment they do go on sale will they be available at this Loppi machine? Does anyone know how to work it? It's all in Japanese |

Yes that's the right machine. Can you read japanese? If not I would actually go for the reseller option instead. But if you want to give it a try read this tutorial. http://www.tokyogigguide.com/tickets
Don't worry. The tickets wont be out for sale yet. Not only about December I think. No information is out either so you'll just have to wait.

I can read some japanese, but not enough to understand what im doing with the machine.
Thank you so much for the link, I'm going to try my hardest to get these tickets! lol Also, when you talk about re sellers, are these actual stores by Yoyogi Stadium or are they just random people walking around selling tickets? And can I assume they jack up the price on the tickets? |

There's 3 different Yokohama Ticket stores, although I've always gone to the one in Shibuya - it seems to have the best choice. The prices can get pretty expensive for a good seat - and I think CDL tickets are even more that tour ones.

Yes it's the reseller stores I mean. The ones outside the stadium have a high risk of not being there at all so that's not a good way to go.
But at the reseller stores there is ALWAYS alot of tickets for sale. And you can choose seating (depending on how much you can afford to spend). You don't need to know alot of japanese to buy one in the store either. And as said before, if you dare to wait until right before the show starts the ticket prices goes down since the stores just want to sell them away quickly at that point. As Matthew, I use the Shibuya store as a first opption. It's also the store closest to the arena (only one sation away) so it's really convenient.

I usually go for TeamAyu lottery for tickets. It's a lot easier to get annual tour tickets (with good seats too), but much harder to get the CDL ones (especially 12/31 one).
Also tried Yokohama tickets before. I've been to its Shibuya and Ueno shops. If you still have time, you can look around at Yahoo auction and bid for what you are interested in. |

I would also like to ask, how much normally will you get an ayu CDL ticket from a reseller?
Just wanna know the approximate price. |

Yeah true, TA is the best way to get tickets on. I always got tickets through TA for the Area Tours but for CDL I always had to buy from a reseller store. Itδs really hard to winn a ticket for CDL in the TA lottery. But it's possible.
![]() About the tickets costs in reseller stores. Well it depends on how good seating you want and on what timing you buy your ticket. But for a great seating you might have to pay over 70'000 yen. But you can get a good seating for around 20'000 yen. Once I bought two tickets (one for 30th and one for 31st) with good seating (middle of the arena, not on the floor but close) for about 30'000. But at that time i bought the tickets 1 hour before the 30th show would start. You guys can also look up the price for a CDL ticket on the site Matthew posted. http://www.yokohamaticket.co.jp/tick...cket-music.cgi Now there are no CDL tickets out yet but somewhere in december you can go look at this site how much they want for a ticket.

^That was for two tickets.
But yes, 30'000 yen for just one ticket can happen depending on how good seating you want.

I paid 25,000 for a B-block ticket to AT08, but that was before the exchange rate collapsed. The good seats are pretty expensive, depends how close to Ayu you wanna get!
