"You are What You Listen": Do you agree?

I think so, yes.

But its hard to come up with exact meanings for things because, it's so subjective.

I mean, I listen to Koda Kumi. Some other person might think "oh she's a ****" so that somehow reflects me since I like her. But I might think of her in a totally different way, and believe that it reflects some other part of who I am.

But if I deconstructed the music I love and listen to...I think it would say a lot about me...if I was able to explain it myself. I would never trust someone else to deduce why I like something, and what that means in terms of my personality.


But people are always making this argument arent they? Even at least, on some subconscious level. It's like, you see someone's charts, and they're listening to "so and so" and it'll be like "ew this person is _______"...or "cool, this person likes ______ they must be _______".

I mean, people do that all the time.
