Hahahaha no one seems to be answering the question.
![]() Maybe it's because she's got this Deji Deji Diary contract with ViVi, so it can be part of that same contract that she does exclusive interviews with ViVi everytime she releases something, which can lead to those 4-6 appearances each year. And when the queen of Jpop does an interview with you, you'd best put her face on the cover. Just my guess. ![]() The mags she's been appearing in recently are the ones that really matter in the fashion/lifestyle section. ViVi, JELLY, SCawaii, Sweet... She dropped Popteen but picked up Otona Look!s, which is natural since her core fanbase has aged along with her over the years. As PIECES said, you don't expect her to appear in computer magazines and stuff, and she doesn't do mags like egg (lol!) and KERA because those are gyaru mags and that's not her fashion style.

I mean magazines that don't appear as bright and colourful as the ones she's usually featured in. I know she's a pop-star, but she's also a musician. There are magazines that are dedicated to music, or just general entertainment, maybe even art--something with a more serious feel. I haven't been to Japan, so I don't know, but there are loads of them in England, and even more, touching on a wider range of topics ... but her image doesn't go with that (and she probably doesn't feel like doing it anyway), so that must be why.
