I won't mind if the picture is 1080i and LPCM, I just prefer DTS-HD
 But I understand PV's are very unlikely to have this audio quality. Shame as I know some of the My Story PV's are in 5.1 on the DVD Audio album. I do have a bad feeling anything up to the missUnderstood area will be in SD upscaled and anything after will be in HD. As that's around the time HD recording became the norm. |

Actually i have this bad feeling too. you know avex,till now,still havent updated any news on ayu's official website announcing about what the Blu-ray Box looks like and what specification will be contained. maybe,they're afraid of those ppl who just pre-order this item,after knowing the FACT,will cancel their orders,honestly,i'm one of them who will take this action. Sorry maybe i expect more i hope they will remaster all PVs into at least DD5.1,cuz this is a collective box with such an extremely high price,can we ask for more?? now,as we know,it's just LPCM,a DVD-format audio sound effect.FINE! how about the picture qualities? i cannot guess,i dare not guess, my bad feeling is,maybe all of them,except the ONES which contained in FIVE's BDM,are upscaled,or just keeping their own ratio. we all know that,AVEX loves money so much,they just try their best to earn more money from their artists' fans by keeping repeating releasing their artists' old masterpiece,ayu,is one of them,which they use the most. OK as i have pre-ordered mine,and it will be ready to be shipped to my place in a few days,OK,fine,i'll wait for it,that's fine with me,if they just upscale everything,that's fine,i can sell mine to others who really dont care about the things i concern the most. but...can i really sell it out?? >_<pathetic>_< |

From this pic, you will see that there's only 1 audio option. So there's no surround sound. *crying*

See, for me audio is 1/2 the point of Blu-Ray. I paid for an extremely awesome surround sound setup and get extremely disappointed when companies seem to not bother with HD audio. If it was uncompressed LPCM I'd be happy with that, while that is only 2 channel, it's at least HD.
But then again Avex are still releasing some artists concert DVD's in 2 channel stereo, which baffles me to no end. I just hope it's not upscaled. |

In fact PVs before 2005 were SD and I remember in making of BALLAD it was clear that it was shot by SD cameras? I can be mistaken but Japanese started shooting PVs in HD not that long ago. As for the concerts, yeah - they used HD cameras from CDL05-06 on
