This has to be one of the best things said in the entire thread.

I swear, some of you people are so ****ing fake and stupid.
Mannie wasn't forced to accept their friend requests. When he received all of these new friend requests after he married Ayu, he had to have known these people he didn't know personally were Ayu fans. If he didn't want them on his Facebook then he should not have added them and upped his privacy settings.

Not starting a fight, just pointing out a fact.

Although, I feel like if he didn't add people they would say he's an ass or something. He can never win, in any case.

I agree. It's disrespectful, tacky and it feels like it is a PR trick.
But the Pv is not that good anyway, soo I just ignore it the dmn thing.

There's been amazing posts from emi♡ and andrenekoi, I agree with them completely.

As I'm reading this, all I can think is that none of this is any of our business, and we can't really make any accurate claims for either side because we don't know what really happened behind closed doors. We don't know what Ayu's really like, we don't know what Mannie's really like, and we don't know how either of them acted in the relationship. While it was in poor taste for Mannie to post that (and his friend was in even worse taste, but as others have said, it's his private page.), he could have just found the image funny. That would be around the same lines as someone posting a funny story about ghosts when their uncle has just died. Jokes at the wrong moment. I have always been neutral about Mannie, and I'm not changing my stance because none of us know the whole story.

This. It's the same that happened with Timmy...

If they accept the friend requests, they are naive, or stupid, or attention *****s.

If they don't, they are rude, or *******s, or they are disrespecting Ayu's fandom.

It's very hard when "win" or "right" aren't really avaliable options....

Ummm, humor is ALWAYS subjective.

And I personally did find it funny myself. I'm also 90% sure it's true too.

So many of your opinions here are based on that whole idea of interpretation.

It's just baffling to me that people can hold so incredibly to their views, when there's no facts at all lol However, it's only half surprising that so many people immediately wanted to demonize him without knowing anything and be stupid that way.

Whatever floats your boat.
But like, we KNOW Ayu. We're as close to her as the guy she married because we've been fans for years and therefore we know only she can be right. God. What more proof do you need?

but the Mannie's friend reply is a shock to me. a shout out to protect a friend publicly seems a bit off & immature
like Mannie can't stand for himself. of course he obviously can't

^ That actually isn't an odd behaviour. Some people actually do that, it's neither uncommon nor immature. And I didn't know that not speaking up because you might hurt someone is a terrible thing to do.

Why do people compare Mannie and Timmy? They're completely different. I don't get it.

The reply from Mannies friend is great. I can just imagine Ayu sitting around crying all the time in her hotel room and in between she goes for a ride in L.A. violating the traffic laws. That image is so funny, really, friend of Mannie thanks for that post! I mean, violating the traffic laws - Ayu such a childish diva and hardcore law breaker at the same time!

My thoughts EXACTLY!

And I know that in a lot of cases humor is subjective, but in some it's not. Like when jokes or opinions are offending or racist. Any person with a (good working) brain detests racist jokes / remarks and a lot of self respecting people detest offending things, unless it's meant positively, which in this case isn't.

Sorry, but if u good working brain can't get that no kind of humour is universally funny, I can't really trust its qualities u r promoting so heavily trough this thread xD

Really? Are people that stupid? Lol what is to compare?

ex-husband --- colleague
straight --- gay
loser --- somewhat-talented composer

I have to disagree, based on how my friends act on Facebook. I've seen some of my girlfriends gang up on people, even in situations where some of them are not really even involved. Immature? Perhaps. Uncommon? Not so much. Just depends on the person.

Honestly, this whole drama is just too much speculation for any opinion here to be proven as a fact. We don't really know what Mannie was posting about. Was it bad timing? Yes, considering this thread was created. But, was it about Ayu? Who knows. And about his friend. How much of his post was truth and how much was rage and exaggeration? Who knows. We, the fans, will never know. We only see what Ayu allows us to see. Her reason for divorce, probably truthful, but let's face it, there was at least some sugar coating, or details she was withholding. We don't know how she acts when the cameras are off, even if we have been following her from her debut. We don't know the details of her marriage. We will never know the 100% truth about anything.

So... Mannie just divorced and posted that meme on Facebook...

Ayu just divorced and portrays a girl who is cheated by her lover and another one who is beaten by him, even worst, on the tour promoting the album composed around her divorce...

Oh well...

That makes no sense to me, since she left Mannie in the Love songs pv, and then she got shot by him It's all to the imagination, all part of her works, it's all fictitious, I don't think she would've been beaten by him for real, that's just... stupid lol

She's always related her works to her personal life, so I don't get what's so disrespectful about it now She made Together When... after she broke up with Tomoya, and that was more like a real 7 year long relationship, and it was a beautiful pv, just like Return Road was meant to be as well.

Call it tacky if you want, but disrespectful? Is not like the dude died and we're all Australian Aboriginals who can't show pictures or name the people after their death lol wtf

I just can't understand how it was right before for her to talk about her relationships and stuff and now it isn't? Mannie WAS part of her pvs beforehand, the picture was used before, don't understand why it can't be used now to put an end to the story that started with Virgin road. Give me a ****ing break.
