Yes, agreed, though that's hard when you are a huge celebrity, and Mannie is purposefully posting things to get a stir from the public.
He's not trying to keep things private, he wants it to be our business. It shouldn't be strange or unusual for fans to be curious as to what he's trying to imply about a favorite artist of theirs.

The difference between Mannie and I is that he's a (semi) celebrity. I'm not. So I don't expect you to give two ***** about what I post. But if you do, it's because I publicly posted it and I accept that.

If I'm not mistaken, Ayu has said time and time again that she considers her fans her family. And if it was only Mannie and Ayu's business, why did they announce they were getting married on Twitter? Why did they post pictures of themselves together on their honeymoon? Why did Ayu publicly announce she was getting divorced? They obviously cared about us enough to share those things, and therefore, it becomes our business. And he didn't say "Ayu fans look here," but he might as well have. He said "Many people ask me about my divorce. Me and Ayumi @ayu_19980408 are not divorced." He was obviously addressing Ayu's and his fans alike who have these questions.
