Uh, not such a big fan of IN THE SPOTLIGHT. I mean, if I was looking for songs like this I could download J.Lo's album. Hopefully the other two we are waiting for are better.

You're right. This song sounds a lot like J.Lo's recent hits, but funny to say, I actually enjoy all the similarities to J.Lo. I first saw Namie's So Crazy PV in 2003 and literally thought J.Lo was singing a Japanese song... and that's what made me a fan of Namie haha. I can't explain why.

In the Spotlight could be an actual hit song in the west. Hope they somehow make Namie an international success. She's still got so much potential!
