I feel he has added nothing to the state of Ayu's music career and the songs he has composed and/or been featured in. It is nothing against him as a person, but when BRILLANTE is the only good thing that has come out since he was introduced to Ayu, and when every other song he has lent his vocals to (NaNaNa, Tell me why, Return Road) has made me cringe every time his part comes out of nowhere (it really does not fit in Return Road or Tell me why - Shake It on the other hand I can handle his part - it fits), it only makes sense that I do not like him being such a HUGE influence in her music and career now. Once again, my reason for disliking him is not due to jealousy - there are valid points to be made by most people who feel the same way.

And playing the jealousy card is just about as gross as the people who play the "haters" card (hater gonna hate, I love my haters, my name must taste good cuz it's always in your mouth, etc.) - that is so sick. Lol.

I have to agree with this 100%. This is how I feel towards Timmy, too. And that translates to how I see him in non-work related settings. I'm just... unexcited to see him. And, I think "Oh, God. He's still around, perhaps influencing Ayu...". And that's where the "hate" for seeing him just in general comes from. I know that final decisions are made by Ayu, but there is no doubt, in my mind, that he makes suggestions that Ayu ends up deciding on.

I didn't mean it as a personal attack. My reaction was similar to RayJason's. She hasn't been posting that many pictures with him so I had forgotten how she drags him everywhere.

I guess this attests to the fact of how lonely Ayu really is. She must be fascinated by the change-of-pace he has brought to her everyday life and the type of personalities she deals with on a daily basis. He certainly is very different than the everyday Japanese who interact with her day-to-day. It seems as though she really values his opinion on her works, and looks to him for new ideas. She has given him a lot of power and influence through her music. I guess you can't blame him - he is not going to turn down opportunities to compose/write music for her when she asks him to or shows interest in his creativity. It's not only the business side of things but I'm sure Timmy might feel that if he doesn't continue to create works for her, he would be of less value in her life and therefore might be pushed aside. They have become really close, no doubt - but you don't see many superstars getting that much influence from their besties.

I'm all for them hanging out. I'm all for Ayu having a good friend. But her way of showing she cares by ultimately morphing them into some sort of duo is bizarre.

On a side note, nobody had problems bashing her dancers when they were included in her PVs, and/or Shu-ya for being involved in so many of her performances/PVs. Not to mention, the anger towards Peco/Princess or anyone else she has worked with. It's no different in this case. Well, actually it is, because with all those folks, they were just part of Ayu's visionary - where as with Timmy, he basically has become her visionary.

Ayu tends to create her own little world and fill it with only the people she wants to fill it with.

And then they become a part of everything she does.

That's her bubble. And one of the reasons why, imo she's so out of touch...something we were talking on facebook about the other day.


Anyways...as far as the timmy hate and timmy...I think, there's negative reactions, and then there's negative to be hurtful. I think Timmy expected negativity...(or he just didn't know the scene that well lol)....but I don't think he expected actual HATE on him. Wasn't he at JPM anyway? That place...why even go there.

i don't like him or hate him, and i don't know why but i think pq would had turn out as bad even without him. i saw it coming since she release five.
but from all his songs i think brilliant is the only good one. i also dislike ayu&co , it was so much better when it was just ayu but that is not up to us to choose. sadly

Yeah, I thought that - and then I realised I'm probably used to things getting a lot more hate. Maybe he thought people would be honoured by his presence, idk. Oh internet.

I also think it#s nice that she's got herself a friend that she likes being around. Ayu has always been a very isolated person and I think it's good for her to have that companion that she can lean on. I don't like what's he's doing with her musically, but I personally don't hate him, or even dislike him. I think it's nice. I'm pleased.

i dont hate him or like him either,but yes sometimes i got the kinda of boring feeling when seeing he is everywhere in Ayu's work. it happened so sudden,that we barely know him and then turned to be someone very special and important apparently. Ayu is someone whos really treasure her besties (yes me too) but in her case shes going to drag them in whatever shes doing.i wanna see Ayu alone,she can conquer and shine on the stage not Ayu and co and friends everywhere. yes she can choose whatever she wants to do and meeting new people is great for her,but not like one person for all the tasks including being in her album booklet

About Timmy,

I think he's done great work with how beautiful you are, but that's it... He completely destroyed NaNaNa for me, and kinda turned me off in Return Road. The two jazz songs were the most terrible songs I ever could have heard from ayumi hamasaki (save for kanariya but still), let's not even begin about Happening Here... And I really don't like how he pushes himself in the frame, like "IT'S NOT AYU, IT'S AYU AND TIMMY *correction TIMMY AND AYU* *****ES". And if he can't dance, why even bother using him as dancer in your videoclips ayu? He looked awkward as hell in shake it and NaNaNa.

I get it that it's a 1 in a billion chance to get asked to compose, sing for, befriend ayu but please, ayu's sound is so different to what he has been doing, It's almost like she changed her own style because of him. And I also know that it's not good to stick to the same thing over and over again, but this 'new' sound they have been throwing over us won't do it either.

I also don't see anything to be jealous about... It's like ayu_ready? said, people confuse jealousy with annoyance, and it's kinda stupid to conclude that when one dislikes another 'jealousy' is the ultimate and only relevant reason. But OK, he's not that horrible that I want him to disappear forever. (like everyone wanted Shu-ya and PECO to) ~what is weird, is that the hate for them was/is absolutely fine LOL, oh AHS.

Sounds mean but I just have one request for ayu and the team behind Tales, please don't let Timmy touch the Tales of Xillia 2 song! Unless he can make something epic, though I don't see that happening anytime soon.

As for Timmy, people shouldn't be rude *******s. There is always a classy way to state your opinion, and sadly, a lot of morons don't have that skill.

I don't love him or hate him, but I feel like he and ayu click well, and probably have a good friendship. As I've said before, she was probably in a very dark place emotionally due to the divorce...so if he has been helping her through that, then I praise him and am thankful for him as I would never want ayu to be sad or alone.

With that said, I do hope that he is only minimally involved with her music post Party Queen.
