Tbh evolution is a timeless song, like SURREAL and M. You never can get enough or find a wrong moment to listen to them. Whereas BALLAD, momentum, Days and Virgin Road do ask for a specific time to listen to (for me when it's raining badly, snowing or if it's winter). At least, thats what I think about it.

I agree with Pieces on how Happening Here and ANother song blemish her discography.

ANother song isn't so bad, but it has very lousy arrangement.. It could be better as acoustic version.

Nonsense. I don't think any of Ayu's songs can actually be categorized as crap.

The only thing that bugs me when it comes to ANother song is the arrangement and that is because the song was supposed to be Naoya's and not hers ^^ There is nothing wrong with Happening Here. It's a cover track and it's not hers. It has the TRF 90s sound and it's fun.

I think Happening Here is my least favorite ayu song. To call it only a "blemish" in her discography is an understatement, imo. It's more like a zit the size of a golf ball. No ayu, there are definitely not some great things happening here.

Oh there are.

She's had many great songs, but there are a few which are terrible songs.

With a discography her size, I'm surprised that there aren't more crap songs. She does have some that go way beyond crap though - Another Song being one of them.

Happening Here is very much a love or hate song, haha.

tbh, I don't get why there's so much hate for ANother song. All of the songs on FIVE imo were great. Super listenable and pretty catchy. It was like a 5A (and should have been one to be honest) imo.

Another Song...is just...another song...like all those awful songs. Weird, stripped down pop R&B with no depth of sound or rhythm.

If I believed Ayu had so many "crap" songs I would've given up on this forum a long time ago.

I don't think she actually has more than 2-3 bad songs in her whole avex discography, but that's just me I guess.

That's a good point you make there. Because I've seen the same people saying her songs are crap hating on her other releases, magazine shoots saying her breasts are fake, that Timmy is her absolute life saver because she sucked before... etc. etc. Yeah, it doesn't makes too much sense tbh. Ayu has the most terrible "fans" ever.

I should actually sign up a AKB forum and troll around there, because I think some people over here are doing the exact same thing here.

There are a lot of songs I don't like that ayu did; kanariya, Depend on You, Far Away, Daybreak and fairyland for example. But I don't call it crap because these songs aren't, I just don't like it. Happening Here is a great example of showing how I've never heard anything this absurd and stupid, I've never called it crap either. Just because I don't like it doesn't mean it's crap. .

Since Ayu got involved with the Illuminati, there has been a drop in quality but her music is till heads and shoulders above the **** abyss that is Jpop now.
