She basically is meaning like, she would never announce that she's in a relationship on twitter before making a formal statement.

And she further explains in another tweet that it's an actor, Asahi Uchida, and that she's "already known him for about 7 or 8 years, so please calm down. "

i think it is not that shes not aware about she posted on Twitter but rather that she didnt look him (Asahi Uchida) as someone resembles to Nagase. Maybe she also just realized since yesterday lol.

from her tweet it looks professional to me and seems she really take this (her love life) as important matter (of course who does not?!)

If your translation is right of what she says about "have never and will never"
then I figured right that any real relationship has never been shared with the public. Only the ones for PR stunts.

Although I've seen atleast 4 pics from her on twitter this year that I'm guessing are from dating, but she's acted like she's not seeing the person for a very long time.

^No, she's just saying that she has not and will not officially announce a relationship over twitter, specifically. From what I remember she formally announced her relationship with Mannie on TA, although I could be wrong. I don't know where you're getting this conspiracy theory about her marrying a gay Mannie only as a PR stunt from. That's a real discredit to Ayu to think she would go to those kinds of lengths to trick her fans and the public for a bit of attention and sales (which, btw, her sales didn't even go up). A fake divorce and related PVs all just for that? Really?

It's probably something you never get used to, tbh. But then again Ayu's also had repeated mess ups with losing lyrics that she wrote on the computer, forgetting song lyrics, etc. She seems like one of those people who just goofs up no matter how carefully she does other things. *shrug*
