Well, you remember the 'circus' aspect of that title too, right? Plus she had singles in the way so it's not like that album was going to be 100% rock.

I thought she explained it pretty well. "Weird and a whole bunch of other things mixed together" especially for the tracks that may not fit under the 'rock' title. For most of her tracks that are not 'super sweet' or a 'soft ballad', they do kind of end up becoming rockish in a way. Would be very interesting to hear a rockish version of Sunrise though. (She needs to perform Ladies Night ~another night~ already.)
