It's a softer, better tasting version of a "Now or Later" or whatever they're called. Sorta like a starburst. It's hard to explain.

For UK people, Moringa Hi Chews are like a more creamy version of Chewits or a less tangy version of Opal Fruits.
Basicaly chewy, milky&sugary fruit flavours. Available at http://www.mountfuji.co.uk (warning! £1.18/packet!) Note Morinaga do a whole range of sweets/candies, but Hi Chew is the one we're familiar with as that's what Ayu usually promotes. |

Yes akatsuki - it's a UK-based supplier but http://www.mountfuji.co.uk/deliveryop.htm suggests they do international.
Hi Chews are in JapaneseFood->Confectionary->Japanese Sweets & Jelly. BTW don't go near the Pea-sweets. Disgusting! I suppose that's one way to try and make kids eat their greens; certainly didn't work on me. |

Some places in the U.S. do carry Hi-Chews. If you have a Japanese supermarket or marketplace near by, they probably sell them. I get mine from a Japanese marketplace called Mitsuwa which has certain locations all over the U.S. including southern California and New York, as well as elsewhere.
