Edit: also, according to lovethatkuu @JPC, this is the first single by a solo female artist to debut at #1 in over 2 years! Last one must have been Ayu's L I'm guessing?

i wish this was a more amped-up comeback just for the fact that she'd have more exposure and more for us to see!! glad to see she got a #1 though! sales were decent, too, and this isn't typically the genre from her that sells. hope the next single will do even better since it will be a ballad!

i wonder if she will be performing at the year-end shows, that's always a slew of performances which are typically great from her!

I think someone mentioned it earlier in the thread that they're calling it a comeback because for the casual listeners in Japan, she's been out of the limelight since last December-ish. All her releases this year have had none to minimal advertising, no lives and such, because of her pregnancy. So the comeback is really to do with the fact she's back performing and being actively around again, and not really with the single itself. Unless you kept up with Koda news on purpose, you would of thought she had been pretty quiet for almost a year.

So what the Hell has Ayu been doing the past 3-4 years...? Sounds pretty similar to her recent career.
