Out of Ayu's albums..which do you have the biggest problem with?

Rock'n'Roll Circus - too many ballads and it really doesn't fit the circus theme (i was expecting something more darker 'cuz the first 3 songs were very promising)
My Story - too long with the same genre (although it has grown a lot on me - at the beggining i used to hate it)
A Song For XX - awful vocals

A Song for XX - used to love it but after sometime the vocals start to really get in my nerves, specially Trust and For My Dear... she is just annoying in this two tracks, although I love the remake for Trust in A BEST a lot.

Rock'n'Roll Circus until Party Queen - Some good singles and album tracks but overhall, I tend to just skip a lot of the tracks, most annoying being, meaning of Love, You were..., sending mail, Like a doll, Thank U (it's just like Replace and MY ALL mixed together, long annoying and boring), November, all the songs in FIVE, except maybe progress, but even this one is annoying to the extreme, call, sounds like every other pop song in the Top 40 American Charts, do not dig, Letter for the same reason plus it sounds like a song I really hate but can't really remember from a english speaking singer, do not know if US or UK, but annoying none the less, same thing with reminds me.

Party Queen ~ too few good songs, horrible covers, her voice has changed etc.

I'd have to say My Story as well. I've grown to like it, but the era just felt so.. mellow, too mellow. It had decent singles, and a great song or two but overall it was just too many ballads. And most of them sound so much alike that i can't point them out, they blend together too much. Which is why as a whole it lacks for me.

And i guess Party Queen too, it lost steam so quick. It lacks any really interesting ballads, something which Ayu usually always win me over with.

A Song for XX - Horrid vocals, generic tracks
My Story - The whole ballad section just sounds like one big boring ballad
Secret~Guilty - The creative low of her whole career... They really sound like she wasn't even trying.

Rainbow, It has some of my favorite songs, but an as an album it really feels incomplete, rushed, and some songs sound similar and not in a good way. I can never listen to it fully without skipping.

MY STORY see my Rainbow's descption+ drags on for too long. I think i would have liked it more if it was only 12/13 tracks.

Rock'n'Roll Circus it has like 1 rock song, and the album is called rocknroll circus, thankfully i'm grateful for that, because at this point i was bored with rock and liked NEXT LEVEL's direction. The album tracks dont mesh well at all, and this is the only album where i think there isn't one outstanding staple song that keeps me going back for more...maybe BALLAD but i got bored of that song.

LOVEppears. I don't really know what it is tbh...I just never really feel in the mood to listen to it. It sounds kind of trashy at points to me (I don't know why, maybe the eurobeat thing). There are some songs I really like (Boys & Girls, And Then, P.S II, monochrome) but I don't even really feel like listening to them most of the time.

I guess I have a problem with Memorial address in that I feel that it was a bit...hmm, with only 3 new songs after the singles were released for it...? I still enjoy it, I just don't think my wallet would've coped if I was a fan then haha.

MY STORY is my biggest problem. Its far too long! I think 2 mini-albums, or one album plus a mini, would've been more manageable. I like the songs enough on their own, but that ballad section in the middle just kills my attention. For me, MS CLASSICAL > MS.

I actually can tolerate her voice from Duty onwards. From MY STORY and so on are gold for me tbh.

MY STORY... that use to be my least favorite Ayu album ever. The album's too long and most of the song are boring, but after watching AT 05, I only like the song she performed, lol.

A Song for XX - because of the vocals. I don't mind Trust or For My Dear... vocals as I've seen most people complain about, I actually enjoy them quite a lot, it's the vocals like in POWDER SNOW that REALLY annoys the hell out of me. I like POWDER SNOW as a song, but her vocal in it is just awful for me (although somehow I like listening to the acounstic version in LOVEppears' second CD even with that same annoying vocal). And also from your letter never really kept my attention, really forgettable song.

FIVE - I don't mind she singing with other singers, I actually think that hers and Naoya's voices sound really good together, but, for me, Why and ANother Song are in my top 5 of Ayu songs I really don't care about/often forget their existance. It's not even that I don't like them, I just don't care about them... So it only left FIVE with 3 songs I really like, and I don't feel like listening much to BRILLANT, so.. yeah...


EDIT: Adding LOVE and again to the top of the list because, well, they really were singles after all...
