As I said, bring me A BEST 3 ~LOVE~ and A BEST 3 ~again~ to sum up this anniversary. xD

If this happens: flames, flames, I see flames everywhere.

Of all the things I dislike about this release, I can't stand that font the most. I mean oh my God they're so fugly. Such a shame that it's to be paired with such cute pictures.

Untitled for her ... story 2 has piqued my curiosity. I love the original Untitled ~for Her~, and this is the first time she's released a part two this long after the first, so ...

The cd+bluray version cover reminds me of ZARD.

He said he could understand foreign fans being upset though because they aren't as familiar with how Avex works. But he said that most people in Japan regard Avex as a very dirty company.
Although her sales have been declining for awhile now, this certainly may be a large contributant to her sales being lower than we expected for the mini-albums. If her Japanese fanbase felt that all of the songs were going to be released on the next studio album, many of them probably decided not to purchase them until the announcement of the next studio album. Hopefully this means that we'll see better sales for "LOVE again". However, I do think that Avex should work on cleaning up their reputation. If they've been regarded as a dirty company, it certainly didn't stem solely from the release formats of "LOVE" and "again". Maybe Ayu didn't have as much say and control in this as some may have thought she did if this is a practice that has been done with other artists under the label.

Yes but I don't recall off the top of my head many of the "divas" having as many editions of one album as Ayu. NEXT LEVEL had the USB, R'n'R had the BOX SET with items and the autographed lyrics, Love songs had the LP, also the playbuttons. Her marketing strategy is geared toward the collectors and hardcore fans who avex knows will eat that crap up.

I don't post on here usually, I just like reading the opinions of other Ayu fans, also you guys whinge an awful lot and it bums me out so I don't like being involved. Anyway just thought I'd put in some positive input from the endless negative *****ing which seems worse than usual.

I'm not angry. I own all of Ayu's albums and 85% of her singles in physical form (mostly first press japan releases back to 1998). Been collecting for maybe 5-6 years now, started listening to Ayu maybe 10 years ago. Just started ordering in the magazines from my local bookshop when she does spreads. I collect many of my other favourite artists too but not as many releases as ayu obviously.

I am quite happy she is releasing a full-length album. What do you guys expect with the old tracks being on a full album, of course since they were really maxi singles; you should know avex tactics by now. I think there was just a mix up in the translations since few of you guys really speak japanese from what I gather... I'm excited about the photobook and new tracks. I love this little series of releases. Quit whinging, if you are downloading it illegally and a large portion of you are, then honestly you have no right to cry.

My opinion to the previous posts about fandom.

To the "poor" people whinging they CAN'T afford releases. I can't afford them either, I'm just as poor as you! I've gone without food for days. Maxed out my credit card many times. I just moved and had all my savings cut out to buy new furniture and such, yet I still found a way to buy the albums. Most recently cut out my morning coffee (which I need so bad honestly, I fantasise about it before I even go to sleep at night), that's $4.50 a day. I was a week late with my rent to pre-order the first presses before they sell out (check on amazon JP you guys who can't find them CDJapan or YA). The landlord won't care so much if it's only once and you get yourself something which makes you feel happy.

Yes it's true you can be a fan without buying EVERYTHING as there is an awful lot she releases. but really if you are as dedicated as much as I try to be you will cut the McDonalds, clothes you never wear, phone apps and the rest of the crap you don't need to support a wonderful woman.

Once you look into your budget and see what you spend your money on you will realise how it isn't difficult at all. Also look at the Hong Kong or Taiwan releases they half are the price, I buy these for other japanese artists. They are just the same, except Japan versions are for collectors I guess, YA ships free to many locations and has massive sales this time of year.. actually party queen is on there right now for 35$, add yourself a cheap single and you have a nice Christmas gift for 45$. Also amazon japan does used versions for sometimes 80% discounts in perfect condition. Ebay has some wonderful stuff from Japan too. Be careful what you buy on there though.

40$ a year for an album is not hard (can you spare 11c a day?) and it makes you feel great knowing you support someone legally. Advice from me, if I love something I'll buy it!

LOL people care too much about labels...being a true fan or not!? "oh I'm a true fan!" "oh, someone said I wasn't a true fan". What the hell does it really matter!? Is it reason enough to start an argument over this? So you're a true fan, so what do you get? an A cake? over your face that is. Seriously, that's a bunch of silliness to fight over who owns the title of a "real ayu fan". While you fight for this surreal position, ayu is petting Timmy to poo on the sandbox.

Anyways, I sort of knew these mini-albums were actually maxi-singles, real wolves disguised as mini-albums lol. I'm not very surprised at the compilation, sooner or later I knew these songs would come together into something larger. I did get my hopes up with a full new songs release album because of some of the information people brought earlier, but I did have my doubts, so I was sort of prepared for this already. This 8th day stuff is mostly like a catch up in releases, since she barely released anything in 2012, so you get the singles ande now a full album; it really isn't much different then regularly buying her singles and now buying a full album other than the length between releases.

Oh, I see A BEST 3 happening:

A BEST 3 Disc 1 (best of LOVE & again, and LOVE again)
A BEST 3 Disc 2 (best of LOVE & again remixes)

I stated before that I honestly am going to take a different approach to this album and hope that it turns out to be a great album despite looking like a pile of pink poo. I really hope this is a good record. And I would LOVE it if this made #1 again... get it? I would "LOVE" a #1 "again"?

I know. not funny. But the truth is I'm just going to believe this album is going to be better than Party Queen because the mini-album songs were, in general, much better than most of PQ's tracks.

Goodluck Ayu. You need it.

For some reason the covers look to me like something out of a gyaru mag. Or the covers of that single by Kana Nishino... Kimitte? Ayu's covers are super beautiful and I love them, but I do think the concept is a little overdone. Perhaps she's trying to appeal to a younger crowd?

I am very excited for a new album. I think much like Love songs (in many ways) this album is going to sound very cohesive. However, this time I love the songs leading up to the album much better! All we need is a marriage announcement on New Year's and the deja vu is complete.
