Hm, those cotsumes are a bit disappointing.
I just like the black an the pool one.
The big dress ha s such a nice shape, but that flower print is ugly. Or better not fitting to such a grand dress.
No I didn't, I really wish I see it. I only read reports and such. Maybe lavish wasn't the right word, sorry. But at least Kuu didn't change, she has her usual mixture. In my point of view ayu went a bit low these past years of you compare on what she did in AT05-AT08. While Kuu based on my observation stays constant to her usual tour formula or tweaked things up but constantly had a kind of similar quality from one concert to another.

And yeah the flower print wasn't nice, I thought those were some corsage but it was printed.

Maybe it's because on the past years she makes high standard (sometimes higher than before) it made some of us expect that this special ocassion would be like the sky pirate ship thing. And without able to witness the concert itself we as usual draw our own conclusion.

I don't think they would have cut money from the tour, people are still going to the shows, Ayu is still doing the same amount of shows she always has if not more..if anything they've cut money from PVs which makes sense as let's face it, her sales are abysmal.

Thats not what I heard from a japanese friend. Ayu is also losing tour fans, as every time there are more empty seats. I read something once which said avex gave free tickets for one of her concerts to some students of an under-avex dancing company

It's logical ^^ Nevertheless she is always the second female singer behind Namie with the bigger attendance !

I'm surprised, so Namie is number 1? Wow
Namie's image has been very good ever since she made comeback and imo it keeps getting better, so it's not surprising.

the costumes are definitely better than last year HLS ones imo. My fav outfit got to be the one she wore for M. Loving the ones she wore for fly high, SURREAL~evolution and SAKURA as well.

I just think R'n'R Circus was such an elaborate concert tour with a CLEAR image. It was just packaged together so well - everything since has paled in comparison.

Ah, ok, I see what you mean.
I was interested in your opinion, cause there aren't that much foreign fans going to Kuu's concerts as e.g. for Ayu. My friends and me seemed to be the only ones at Saitama!
And you're right, Kuu's tour concepts are pretty much always on the same level, with Black Cherry Final in Tokyo Dome probably as an exception (and hooray, no cute section in JAPONESQUE tour, I just have to add this )
There are also no big changes or finals for her tours, everybody going watches the same stuff.

For Ayu this always was different, I agree. Nevertheless I was surprised to see her Saitama dates weren't sold out, cause I mean, it is her Anniversary Tour and Avex did promote pretty well this time. And PoM Tour was a "smaller" tour in terms of props and co. and a success. But people probably had different expectations back then with all that mess happening...
She still has a big amount of dates though. So I don't worry.

Yeah I remember last year I got an Arena seat, and all the four seats next to me are empty, which is nice to me, b/c I can move around (but not nice for the revenue etc).

I always thought that was unfair, I mean, people are paying big bucks to go see Ayu, why make one show more elaborate than the other? :/ That just may leave one group of fans with a better experience than the other

That tour was pure gold. If Ayu can give me another tour like R'n'RC, I'd be the happiest kid alive

Ayu doesn't include flames and explosions for one tour and all of sudden avex is cheap, you guys are funny.

Imo none of Kumi's and Namie's concerts have really ever been on pair with MY STORY, (miss)understood, 10th Anniversary or RnRC tours.

I've noticed that AAA's 777 tour had a really awesome stage and that the production of the DVD was handled quite nicely, so I don't think that avex is really going cheap, as Ayu still prolly earns more than AAA~

Am I the only one, who doesn't give a damn about the costumes? I'm still waiting for a Club Tour or something like that. Ayu+Band, that's enough. I don't need a big venue and special effects. So she has lesser fireworks? Does this make her voice worse?
Really people should stop complaining all the time. Embrace the fact, that she is still in business. THAT is an accomplishment, especially in Japan.
Even if she has some empty seats. Who cares? She still can use the big venues and not just for the final of a tour...
Small venues, big venues, costume changes, one outfit. I take it all
As long as she is singing, I'm happy.
People are just spoiled. She has a tour EVERY year!! Be happy

Besides...come on people, it's hard to make a better tour than RnRC
