The only part I even liked was the lead-up to the chorus.

I agree, I feel like it was the female version of 'One of a Kind' or something.

It was just....too slow and.....she was mostly talking the whole time, which was boring. I also am not a huge fan of repetition in a song, unless it's catchy and sung, and she kept repeating certain phrases throughout the song that were actually grating on the nerves rather than catchy.

I dunno....I just thought it was a mess.

Maybe I'll review it again tomorrow or something but - as of now - PASS.

The style of both the music video and song remind me quite a bit of GD's "One of a Kind". "The Baddest Female" isn't a BAD song, just not really up my alley.

Yeah The Baddest Female...biggest disappointment ever. Honestly it was annoying and just sounded like a bunch of noise :/...And I agree with *hearT_Place*, I instantly thought of GD's "One of a Kind" once the MV started.

Hopefully 2NE1's comeback will be a bit better.

Same here. But, it seems like it's a success with most going by youtube likes/views etc, so I'm happy. I personally don't really like the genre, I wish she'd had a singing part - but I do love the music video. All her different styles looked great.

the problem is that the song is slow hip-hop based, there's almost no pop elements in it, and 2NE1's public is expecting their usual electronic pop. People should understand though that CL needs to do this for her, she needs to grow as a rapper and it has to start somewhere. She already said in an interview that 2NE1 has their stuff ready for a comeback and it's their own music (even back from I Love You). We just have to wait for YG's goodwill.

^I like rap though. Just i agree with everyone else. Big no. CL's done some great rap before. If I took some of her rapping pieces out of other songs shes done n made that snippet 4mins long it'd make a better song than this one.

EDIT: Listening to it now while not watching the MV at same time its growing on me a tad more. Might try putting it on repeat for a bit & see what happens.

Lol I get the sense that people either love the song or hate it. Like I mentioned before, I'm really not a fan of the song but I LOVE the fact that it's doing so well. Also, CL looks FIERCE in the MV (cept for the plaid outfit scene).

Like I know we all talked about it sounding kind of like 'One of a Kind' and I still think it really does, sadly, I have not played it past 3 rounds and I probably won't anymore
