B’z “Q&A” to be used as opening theme for “Detective Conan”

“Q&A,” the new song from B’z, will be used as the opening theme for tv anime “Meitantei Conan” (aka “Detective Conan“).

“Q&A” was recorded for their 2 best of albums,“B’z The Best XXV 1988-1998” and “B’z The Best XXV 1999-2012,” both of which will go on sale June 12. It will be used as the opening theme song to “Meitantei Conan” starting on May 4’s episode.

Additionally, their hit song “ultra soul,” which is another track from “B’z The Best XXV 1999-2012,” will be used as the theme song for TV Asahi’s broadcast of the “2013 World Aquatics Championships” in July. The song was also used for the “2011 World Aquatics Championships.

AEROSMITH & B’z to hold live event “AEROSONIC”

It was announced that AEROSMITH and B’z will hold a live event titled “AEROSONIC” on August 8th at QVC Marine Field in Chiba.

The live event will be held as a part of AEROSMITH’ tour, and it’s been about 11 years since they last performed together at “2002 FIFA WORLD CUP KOREA/JAPAN OFFICIAL CONCERT” held at the Tokyo Stadium (currently named “Ajinomoto Stadium”) back in June 2002.

Regarding the live event, Joe Perry (G) left a comment, “One of the best things during our Japan visit for this time is that we will be able to perform with Tak and Koshi from B’z once again.”

B’z also commented, “We are very excited to be able to stand on the same stage with AEROSMITH again after 11 years. In order to show you an even better live performance, we will perform with our full effort.”

Starting on April 26th, they began accepting pre-order for tickets from their fan club members starting on April 26th, and the pre-order for everyone else will start on May 25th. Tickets will be available to the general public for purchase starting on June 9th.

Yeah, I'm not surprised - they're going to run this away! And I don't see other ones that are quite interesting, except for some remix album from an American artist! I wonder which one will get #1...maybe the older one will (1988-1998) will?

^Judging by the Japanese, it'll probably be 1988-1998 because their most recognizable hits are from '90 onwards (starting with Taiyou no Komachi Angel).
