i somehow feel that the lyrics are totaly crappy...that makes me disslike both of the songs....it's just pointless and shallow...i can handle all the dancfloor theme crap but please leave that drunk/sex BS to Koda, Namie. You don't need that..*shakes head*

Well, kinda ironic that she's not dancing in a PV for a song called "Ballerina" rofl The video is amazing though, it fits perfectly with the song imo and even though I prefer Neonlight Lipstick, watching the PV is like boosting the song Now it has grown on me I guess

I'll just be so pissed off if she doesn't release a PV for Neonlight Lipstick

What's wrong with Namie making sex songs? She already released a very popular song called WANT ME, WANT ME so it shouldn't be such an issue.

Anyway, I love Ballerina more than Neonlight Lipstick, which felt a bit too repetitive for my taste. But I still like that song as well. I mean, the preview did sound quite good but the full thing just didn't really blow me away. I wonder why. o.O

The whole album of PLAY is so NSFW if we want to go down this road. Namie is probably the most sexual artist out of "the big three" imo...Koda is just more obvious with sexy songs.

well excuse me for wanting the whole classy pack - music, lyrics and looks....=/ i guess my opinion is alone like that...sorreh about that, folks... and i never liked any of the stuff she had earlier, i enjoy only a few songs....so....all that sex suff in the songs is probably one of the few reason why i never gave a second chance to her after i heard her first, even tho i loved her vocals, But then Tempest happened & saved her.... that kinda explains why the songs i actually like have a little or almost no hint of all that crap...it's just me...i just see music differently i guess *shrugs*

I always thought Namie did this really well actually.

She's not in your face dancing with it, or with her outfits the way Koda is. The only thing really out there are the lyrics.

She's very subtle with things.

I think Neonlight Lipstick is better, Ballerina is a bit boring now. I saw the recochoku and itunes charts, and Neonlight Lipstick is doing a good job on Top 5. I don't know about Ballerina.
