But I can't help but thinking about songs in LOVEppears, idk maybe I prefer heavier songs or not a song so fluffy it floats.

She should release another And Then or immature like track, and then went EDM Batshit with teh style of WHATEVER or until that Day... or Sparkle

I wonder if she just wanted to create a fun song to fit in with the trance-y sections of her concerts nowadays. This also seems like it could be very well received by the public.

@true: idk tbh I mean I just don't think it's that fun. I was so bored, and it didn't get better the more times I listened. I'd never be able to play that at a party. I'd get laughed out of the room lol

Same! For me it's a bit of a "barf-ballad". A bit too sickly sweet - bleurgh! Not my type of song at all.

Sweet Scar, on the other hand, I love! Definitely the best of her recent ballads and I certainly wouldn't mind more like this.

I totally understand the disappointment in Feel The Love as it does partly sound like what everyone else is doing (not gonna use the phrase "EDM" because dance music has been round for a pretty long while. And a lot of it is electronic.) but I love it. So catchy! Which is quite ironic as I wasn't a fan of a lot of the songs from Namie's Feel (although it has grown on me now & I do really enjoy it) as it initially sounded like she had recorded someone else's songs. But this sounds like Ayu and I love the dated 90s feel!

Well, part of it was that how beautiful you are was intended for one of those 'love yourself' dramas. Also the YOU DON'T KNOW YOU DON'T KNOW is like my favorite part of that song, haha.

I'm sincerely hoping "Merry-go-round" will be a depressing winter power ballad... like POWDER SNOW, No way to say, etc. With theme being about vicious cycles of falling into bad relationships... Mannie, Maro, Merry-go-round.

It's a song that's intended for the 'dancefloor' apparently, so it will also be upbeat. m-flo productions usually aren't anything like Ayu's winter ballads unless you could "Lover" or w/e.

there are some m-flo songs that he produced for Kana Nishino and they were kinda.... ballad-ish, but more of the cellphone ballad genre, like "Kimi no koe wo"... but eh oh well no depressing bawling ballad this year then

Oh my god. Feel the love is just so... dreadful. It could have been okay if it was catchy. It wasn't. If you're making that type of music it has to be catchy.

I think it's only a few people who it isn't catchy for, tbh. It's certainly got an incredibly catchy chorus imo.

I feel as if I'm not liking the new song for the 'right' reasons. I think it sounds like a dated garbage fest so therefore it's amazing. I just have two types of music I like: pop (incl. electro) and 90s JTrash. This song ticks off both boxes.
