Well ever since mflo got kinda upset at jpop for being bad and being all up in korea, I feel like they got a little influenced by the electronic scene up there.

I was hoping that Ayu's song with them would be a little like the song that verbal was in with yulia, which, here's a short version:


I don't mean, the autotune, or anything like that. It's just that this sound is REALLY reminiscent of some underground Korean electronic groups like Glen Check. So it's a little different from some of the R&B stuff they did for other people.


And I'm hoping hoping hoping that they do something interesting for her, cause I know those boys be educated in a lot of different sounds, and I also hope they find something that meshes well with her vocals.

I hope they don't take her in Yulia's direction, because while I can see the Glen Check in that track, it's like a watered down version of their style. One step removed, and then with Ayu it'd be two steps removed because she's got a style already, and then why bother?

But then I'd rather have Ayu does distant cousin to Glen Check than Ayu does the 90s, so eh, I guess. It would definitely be different.

I agree with you (and on the watered down sound too). It just seemed to me like it was better than the 90s, or the generic edm they did with one of their last albums.

Maybe they'll go the R&B route with her lol

I was more shocked to see somebody mention Glen Check, tbh. I don't know much about m-flo, but something in that Yulia track style would be better if they are doing generic EDM.

Now that I think about it though, Ayu taking that Glen Check influence could give us a cute indie-pop track, if she went pop with it. She should go pop with it. I think my dislike for the new Mademoiselle Yulia album got in the way of seeing it that way lol

I wouldn't rule out the option of the PV being good just becaus she has a bf there. Storylines can be interesting. Of course it can ruin if it's your real bf and he's a douche, but this time it's not her real bf. She learned from her mistake.

Ehhh, men with that kind of muscles mass aren't all that attractive to me, but his facial features make up for it. This choice of "boyfriend" for the PV(s?) makes me think that there might be some kind of athletic theme somewhere, but then again, Ayu has a habit of surprising me.
