A5 is basically an A4 folded in half, isn't it? So if you want a size reference, just use a folded piece of A4 paper.

Yes, from A0 (wich its total area is 1 square meter) folding it in half we get A1, A2...A6.
If you want a reference for a A3, take 2 A4 together. That's it.

A5 it's very cool format for a book, but not for a photobook. In my opinion A4 or A3 are the best to see photos
