Early versions used in CMs

You know, I never really noticed that. I did notice the 'everywhere nowhere' backing vocals were gone, and Moments sounds different.. Especially the 'hana no you ni' part, it just sounds different from the original.

Maybe they are demos, that's possible. It would be interesting to hear the full demos..

Those first versions of songs surely was recorded as full tracks - I don't believe that they could be recorded only as 30 sec previews - NO WAY

The cool thing, though, is that for this year's songs, the album hasn't come out yet. So maybe one of these songs will have an Album Mix that's closer to the CM version. Slim chances, but who knows!

yeah, it's possible those were either demo versions or one of the arrangements before the "original mix" arrangements (if i'm not wrong, "original mix" is always the last mix of a song, before it's released on a single?).

dominika >> i had EXACTLY the same way. i got to know Ayu and her songs trough her CMs. i remember i was sometimes a bit disappointed, becouse the chorus part (which is usually the one used in CMs) sounded wonderful, but then rest of the song wasn't anything special -- like in Free'n'Easy or End of the World.

"Original Mix" versions r main versions of songs (used on albums & singles) - in other words: not remixes

I'm not disappointed Free & Easy and End of the World - I love both this songs. We talking here about differences with demo tracks used in CMs & final releases from albums & singles and I didn't noticed differences between 30 sec previews of those tracks in CM versions and later releases.

I always was planning on making a topic about this as well but never had the time to or when I did have the time I had completely forgotten about it!

Yes, I too have noticed this and the one that caught me was "walking proud." I LOVED the version in the CM, I mean, I was exstatic about it! I was so excited but when I revcieved MY STORY for Christmas, I was a little disappointed in the final product. I mean, I still love the song and all but it just wasn't as good as I expected it to be...

I never noticed that "moments" was different. Maybe I have? I'll have to listen again but unlike "walking proud", I wasn't disappointed in the final product of "moments". I still think that that song is probably one of the very best singles released by AYU! All of my friends love it!

anyway I'm on the opposite side..I love how it sound in the visee version..the vocal is somewhat different and the bg music is waay different than original
I'm disappointed that the final single/album version was released instead
afterall many fans requested ayu(in teamayu bbs) to make the cm song in to a full single song..but turn out the whole song change..which is not what i've wish it to be...but atleast the song was made though
