Ayu demos or unreleased?

Didn't she say petal was a song produced a while back? and only recently she wanted to use it in LOVE again? I can't remember for sure if it was petal or not, but I remember reading it here in one of her interviews.

It'd be pretty cool to know how many songs Ayu really has recorded. Beyonce recorded over 80 songs for her latest album, could you imagine Ayu's numbers with 14 albums under her belt?

Yeah, there are probably LOADS of songs that were possibly going to be made or are stored away. In fact, most of LOVE again is made up of tracks that were made a while back. Apparently SAKURA had been arranged/etc. for a long time before it was finally released on LOVE again.

Her SCawaii interview revealed that the following songs were in 'storage' for a while, or she was saving the composition for a bit.
- Wake me up ('kept for a while, wanted to use someday')
- SAKURA ('this song had been lying around, already arranged')
- Gloria ('this song has been the director's baby for 6 years...')

And she seems to hint at petal's potential of being done live in the interview as well.

On top of that, I wonder just how many incomplete CREA tracks there are.

It's true but it's not like they had a choice to put 40 songs on an album lol I'm sure there are tons of amazing songs ^^

Weren't some of the commercial versions released on Mu-Mo? We have a high quality 17s version of Sparkle from that Spark car commercial (even though it doesn't really sound any different from the studio version). I think it was a cellphone only download exclusive or something. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a bunch of commercial snippet songs floating around out there on cellphones that haven't been leaked on the internet yet.

Considering her releasing pace, any song that sounded good enough to be released would already be released.

Sometimes you need more time to finish a creative work, and probably most of her unreleased songs aren't release-worthy yet.

I'd love to hear some of her unpolished and unfinished demos and alternate takes.

One of my favourite Elvis songs is Blue Moon of Kentuky and he has an alternate take that is also really good. Granted it's unpolished but I like it almost as much as the final version.

Hearing some alternate arrangements from Ayu would be really nice

I dunno. I sort of doubt she has too many almost finished unreleased songs from the past few years considering her working pace now, but I'd be willing to bet there are tons of good songs leftover from her peak era that were really just shafted for slightly better ones or just didn't fit the current project at the time. It's not like they're necessarily not good enough solely because they didn't get released; there are plenty of other factors that could go into it.

Anyway, I'd love to hear some unreleased songs, finished or not. I'd just... really prefer them not to be released under the guise of a brand new album again. I pretty much see LOVE again as an "unreleased songs compilation" anyway, since half that album is confirmed to be leftovers from other projects and the other half sounds pretty much the same >_>
