I am surprised.
Even if I know Namie is big lately, it almost feels like a fragile spell. She's been low for so long and solo artists sales are so wrecked, at every release I can't help but wonder if she's gonna pull it off once more.
And, anyway, this is a ballad bests on summer, I didn't expect it to sell 100k the first day!

And I died watching that mash-up video. It's PERFECT.

amazing sales! Yes, It's so smart of them to release a Ballad album for a singer who you normally would not relate to ballads LOL. But every one there is such a beautiful classic

I love the jacket card that it comes with. I thought it was like the actual cover, but it's not. It adds a nice effect to the package.

Can someone please explain to me why the hell she didn't update "think of me" vocals? Everyone in my living room started mimicking her horrible vocals. My ears are still bleeding from that off-key yelling. x_x

^^ Are you talking about the "think of me" on "LOVE ENHANCE/Ballada"? I think that version's a million times better than the version on "break the rules"...

The only ballad from pre-Queen of Hip-Pop I liked was HimAWArI lol like the others are classics and whatnot but they're definitely not for me.

How long do you think the digi-pack will be on sale for in stores? I wanna get it next month but I'm kinda iffy about availability.


The album rekindled my love for White Light and reminded me how boring Never End is. I love the new Sweet 19 Blues though.

I wish Tempest made it onto the album. It's too amazing of a song to not be included. Beautiful would have been nice too.

I actually thought I wasn't going to order this because I'm starting to scale back on my JPop purchases and didn't think a ballad compilation would be worth it, but then the poster and the lenticular cover changed my mind, and so now I'm glad I did.
