Favorite Live Performances by Ayumi Hamasaki
I was originally going to post this as a "top ten favorite list" kind of thread, but I realized that some people may not have that many or may have more than that. Whatever the case, tell us which performances by Ayumi Hamasaki are your favorites! If you feel like it, you can explain why, but you don't have to...
 ~~~~ As for me... (Bold are my top eleven favorites) ~~~~ -"And Then," and "Monochrome," Concert Tour 2000 -"Starting Over," Countdown live 2000-2001: I chose this song, even if she doesn't sing in it. I think this performance the dancers bring is very intriguing and the overall feeling of the place is very dark. I get chills. The costumes are silly and everything looks a bit like outdated sci-fi clothing, but this opening just gets me. - "A Song for xx," "Never Ever," "Duty," "Prologue," and "Vogue," from Dome Tour 2001: This performance of ASFXX gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME. When I watch it with subs, I get so emotional. These lyrics ring true to me and I can feel the sincere intensity in her performance. - "I am..." 2002 Arena Tour performance: No words can quite express how cool I think this performance is. Her voice... HER VOICE. D: So striking and powerful from such a young, small lady. The break in the middle really bothers me though, when they start showing behind the scenes footage... it seems pretty darn out of place - "Connected" 2001-2002 Countdown Live: I like this performance for similar reasons as with Starting Over from CDL 2000-2001. The dancers, the stage, and Ayumi herself seem like from another world to me in this. There is something so dark, rich, and mysterious behind the whole performance. She herself sings so well and the lighting effects are really cool. - "Dearest" MUSIC FAIR21 2007.02.24: I think this performance is just breath-taking... -"Memorial Address," "Teddy Bear," from Arena Tour 2003-2004: This performance of Memorial Address felt way personal to me. This song holds a really, really special place in my heart. Her performance of it was perfect. I felt like she was singing what I wanted to say at the time. -"Whatever," and "Key~ Eternal Tie ver." Countdown Live 2004-2005: this performance of Key is sooooooooooo heart-wrenching........ D: -"Walking Proud" from My Story Tour -"Heaven," "Because of You," and "Bold & Delicious" from Countdown Live 2005-2006: this performance of Heaven made it onto my list because she looks amazing with that hair (that is a legitimate reason, right?), her singing is great, and the fact that there's no one dancing... XD -"(Miss)understood," from the (Miss)understood Tour -"Together When," and "Sotsugyou Shashin" from Countdown Live 2007 -"GREEN," "Will," "Real Me," "And Then," "Naturally," and "In the Corner" from Countdown Live 2008-2009 -"NEXT LEVEL" from Arena Tour 2009 -Another favorite of mine is her performance of "Dearest" after winning the huuuge Japan music award. And I will stop there because I'm not caught up with any of her recent live performances to be honest... XD

1LOVE ~ Until That Day... of AT2007! So sexy and explosive! And my secret is... I love when Ayu dances xD
Decision ~ My Name's Woman of AT2008. Sexy, powerful and good vocals! Marionette, no words to describe this live, and "Do It Again" CD is <3 Kiss 'o' Kill of AT2007/2012. One of my favourites songs by Ayu and the lives are fully of badass and epicness. (Miss)understood of AT2006. I only can say "YEHEEEEEEEEEE" Memorial Address & Teddy Bear of A BEST LIVE and Arena Tour 2003 of course. I Am and A Song For XX, always! About You of Arena Tour 2005. This live is incredible. All Love Song perfomances. Rock'n'Roll Circus Arena Tour - All show. (Specially mention to Ballad WHAT A EPIC PERFOMANCE) There are so many perfomances I like, It's impossible to remember all (And Then, Sparkle, Rollin, Identity, Talkin 2 Myself, Sending Mail...)

A Song for XX at A-Nation '08 and Dome Tour '01!
The rain during a nation was just so perfect!! She sounded good from what I remember and it is just a performance I can't forget! I keep looking back at it, thinking it was so epic! The one from dome tour was one I had on my iPod for the longest time ever. I loved to listen to it, I also think her look of determination during the performance is perfect  Memorial Address at Arena Tour '03. This is one of the performances, so full emotion. It's just so amazing to watch, especially with subs and considering the background story. So painful but amazing!!! End of the World & Heartplace at Premium Countdown Live '09. I never really listened to these songs, this performance was like listening to these songs for the first time and I fell in love! The performance is great, she looks gorgeous and the songs are just awesome!!  untitled ~for her~ at CDL 07-08 was also a really emotional performance. As much as I usually don't tend to listen to ballads much, I think these powerful performances with lots of emotions just stick with me. I can't seem to forget them and they just leave such a lasting impression!! These are the ones I can think of at the top of my head. I do like a lot more performances by ayu but these are my favorite ones!!

Lots of staples are my faves, the way she performed them in her early years, I thought I just lost interest in those songs over time but whenever I launch those old performances listed below I'm all hooked up again.

A Song for ×× @a-nation 2008 A Song for ×× @A Museum Dearest @A Museum winding road @COUNTDOWN LIVE 2004-2005 A song is born @STADIUM TOUR 2002 A song is born @POWER OF MUSIC 2011 HEAVEN @ARENA TOUR 2006 M @POWER OF MUSIC 2011 End of the World @COUNTDOWN LIVE 2000-2001 INSPIRE @COUNTDOWN LIVE 2004-2005 Trauma @COUNTDOWN LIVE 2004-2005 - The funniest ever, I love it There are A LOT of other performances I could list, but I'll live it like this.

teddy bear/Memorial address from Arena Tour 2003-2004 the next LOVE/Eyes, Smoke, Magic from HOTEL Love songs BRILLANTE from POWER OF MUSIC Voyage from A BEST LOVE monochrome from Concert Tour 2000 Marionette from Asia Tour 2008 appears/Missing from HOTEL Love songs can I just list the entirety of Rock'n'Roll Circus tour? Love song from CDL 2013-2014 and that's all I can think of at the top of my head
