Actually Madonna never had a 25 year contract (contacts was mostly based on number of albums) she renegotiated every time it was finished so it wasn't really a slave contract. She only became unhappy the last 2 years. Just a tid-bit

I'm not so sure about this slave contract business with Namie, I hope she comes out of this unscathed but it looks like the firing squad already started, articles are coming out everyday tainting her name.

If shit hits the fan and they release her but then blacklist her, she can always still go independent like she wanted and she will probably sell mildly well (Like Glay or ayaka nowadays) she can do hall tours i'm sure. So it's mostly their loss, they're losing their biggest cash cow, if you look at the VF roster, there's no one relevant.

I just hope Max Matsuura helps her out of this mess like he did with Ami suzuki, he really should since she was one of the first avex artist to make it big.
