^It's not premmature they said they have been talking about this for a while, Jessica can't keep up with SNSD schedule and while SM was still negotiating with Jessica, herself made public that she was kicked out from the group when that wasn't truth

I hope they give Jessica lines to Yuri and Hyoyeon, give them this opportunity to shine |

I'm actually really stunned at all this. I hope they won't try to find another girl to replace her. That's just asking for trouble.

The rumours about her brand and her marriage has been going on before the renewal of the contracts.. It feels like SM wanted to wait for her to sign it before kick her out of SNSD, so they could park her career. I think the contract basically states that her name and image is owned by SM too, so she can't really do shit before her contract runs out..
* contract, not contact. Oops. Last edited by kimmeh; 30th September 2014 at 11:23 PM. |

I don't care about her that much (she's a filler member to me, she's like 3rd from the end meaning there are two I like even less) but even if I don't mind them being only eight it still feels weird, and I definitely can't imagine rearranging all the past songs for future live performances to perform them withough her. I'm really curious how this will work out.

It's stupid the way they just decide what things their artists can venture into and not venture into, even after people try to negotiate. I thought I read that she had already worked out the royalties that would be paid to SM from her brand. If she didn't want to be in the group, then why did she resign lol How is it that other members routinely participate in other SM approved activities, sometimes for months and months at a time, while "keeping the SNSD schedule" but Jessica can't work for herself, be her own boss, and keep up the schedule? I mean honestly. What kind of bullshit is that. idk. Maybe she's always had a hard time keeping the schedule as it is. I don't know if I approve of her just hitting up Weibo, but at the same time, I don't think she gives a shit about what's proper and what isn't right now. If it was me, I'd tell people the truth. Although I guess at the end of the day, she could be lying too. But seriously, fuck SM. They're assholes. They probably did exactly what kimmeh said.

what I don't get is if she was really planning to leave the group for month, why renew her contract a few weeks ago? Makes no sense to me.

^^ because it was agreed she would record one more album, so of course she had to renew it. I feel sorry for her, because they waited for her to renew it before kicking her out, now she's stuck there for another 3 years
![]() Honestly I don't buy the scheadule thing, Jessica has always been one of the membera that always followed the schedule, and ahe was still attending to SNSD's schedule, so saying that she only cared fir her individual activities and wasn't following the group schedule is bs. Besides, tons of times other members have missed schedules for individual activities, like Yoona with her acting, and other SM artists, like Kibum on SJ, got indefinite hiatus to be able to do their individual activities, but why only on SNSD Jessica was kicked out? No, for me the whole "she started her brand and wasn't following the group schedule" makes no sense to actually force her to abandon the group. It honestly sounds like there were some internal problems in the group, maybe between some members, that they are not mentioning... I wanna hear from the other members, but all their radio schedules are being canceled >_<

"Hello. This is Jessica.
I was given a notice of departure from Girls' Generation by the agency on September 29, and I cannot hide my shocked and upset heart about this, so I'm here to reveal my position. I have always put Girls' Generation's activities before my business or personal life as a member of Girls' Generation. However, despite my efforts for the team, I have been asked to leave the team by the agency. While I was planning my business that I've had a lot of interest in since before, I had sufficiently consulted SM as well as the members about my preparation many times and asked for their understanding. Up until the beginning of August when I was launching 'BLANC', I had received agreement and permission from SM, and congratulations from the members as well. However, in early September, after only a month since the launching, the members suddenly changed their position and held a meeting, and told me to either quit my business or leave Girls' Generation without any justifiable reason. I explained that I had already received permission from the agency, that I had never neglected Girls' Generation's activities, and that I could not suddenly halt my business due to my contract with my business partner after a month. Ultimately, I pleaded that it was unjust for me to have to make a choice. Becoming a Girls' Generation member was the best thing in my life, and I had never thought about quitting. Shocked about this, I had met with the agency CEO on September 16 to convey my position, and once again confirmed their permission for carrying out my business. However, on September 29, I was given a one-sided notice asking me to leave Girls' Generation. Due to this, I was also unable to attend the fan meeting in China on September 30, and I have also been excluded from following Girls' Generation activities. I have received great pain and cannot hide my sadness that I was asked by the agency and fellow members, whom I've spent 15 years with putting in all my passion and effort, to leave Girls' Generation just because of the reason that I'm starting a business. I also want to apologize for causing concern to all the fans. Please understand that this situation is not at all what I had wanted, and that I've always treasured Girls' Generation, and that I will continue to do so. Thank you for always supporting and loving me. Sincerely, Jessica Translation credit: allkpop |

Ok, so now I really want to hear from the other members. Jessica's post is clear and simple, she seems to be speaking the truth imo. I wanna understand what suddenly made the members change their mind, why they suddenly made her choose after they said it's ok? Because I can totally understand how she couldn't just quit her businesses contract after it was done, so why did they let her sign the contract and later changed their mind abou it?

Forget SM. Its a greedy company based on slavery and profit. According to Jessica they aren't the villain here because if what she is saying is true then its really the members that turned their back on her and betrayed her. Disgusting. I hope the Korean public and their fans see them for the back stabbing bitches they are.
Did these fools not think that this was going to backfire on them all? |

Hmmm...SM is a business just trying to protect their investments and products. It's important to remember that these people are essentially investments and products in their portfolios. They became something so in personable as an idol when they signed on the line...
Also the thread title is so appropriate right now lol |
