flumpool Join Volunteers At Beach Clean-Up At Fukushima

A volunteer event titled "RockCorps supported by JT" was held at the coast of Fukushima on the 13th of August and flumpool appeared as surprise guests. The project "RockCorps" inspires people to be engaged in their community by using music.

Volunteers who completed 4 hours or more of work are given free tickets to a special live event titled "Celebration". flumpool, who will be performing in the event, joined the volunteers today at the beach for the removal of debris and driftwood.

"RockCorps" has been implemented in many countries and well-known artistes such as Lady Gaga and Maroon 5 has participated in these events. To read more about "RockCorps", head over to their official website!

flumpool To Provide Song For Satria Garuda BIMA-X

Indonesia has their own Tokusatsu serial, Bima Satria Garuda, which season 1 has ended and successfully attracted attention of Japanese Tokusatsu lovers. The series will be going on to its season 2 on September and this time the well-known Japanese band flumpool will be providing a theme song for the series.

Newly formed band THE TURTLES JAPAN release “It’s Alright!” PV

THE TURTLES JAPAN have released the video for their debut song “It’s Alright!”.

The band consists of Ryuta Yamamura (Vo) and Kazuki Sakai (G) from flumpool, Seiji Kameda, music producer who has worked extensively with Ringo Shiina during his tenure with their band Tokyo Jihen for 7 years, WEAVER’s Yuji Sugimoto (Key) and Tom Tamada (Dr). They came together in July and will only be together for a limited time.

The group’s concept is reflected in the video with their PV and jacket styling, wanting to “tear down borders and enjoy music freely”.

THE TURTLES JAPAN’s first single “It’s Alright!” will be released as a single November 19th.

The song has been announced as the opening theme of TBS TV series “CDTV” and will begin broadcast on the 10th of November.

New songs on The Best 2008-2014 "MONUMENT" :

- Believer's High
- Ashita e no Sanka

labo (Re-Arrange) is the only 1 that's re-recorded

I don't like the way The Best 2008-2014 "MONUMENT" was released as the tracklist's not something I like . If they only include their singles + include all their PVs in the DVD , it would have been much better

Instead of mixing singles , B-sides & even album tracks all into 1 big mess

Not all their B-sides are included , only some are included in The Best 2008-2014 "MONUMENT"

Taisetsu na Mono Kimi Igai ni Miataranakute / Binetsu Refrain & Tsuyoku Hakanaku / Belief ~Haru wo Matsu Kimi he~ are the only 2 singles not included in their 1st 3 albums + mini album

flumpool to release their 5th anniversary tour on Blu-ray & DVD

On December 3, flumpool will release a 2-disc Blu-ray / DVD titled "flumpool 5th Anniversary tour 2014『MOMENT』＜ARENA SPECIAL＞ at YOKOHAMA ARENA".

The Blu-ray / DVD will include flumpool's concerts from August 10 at Yokohama Arena and July 10 at Nagoya Congress Center, both a part of the band's 5th anniversary tour 'flumpool 5th Anniversary tour 2014『MOMENT』'. A special website has been launched for the Blu-ray / DVD which will feature further details. You can also check out the track list and digest video below.
