Dr. Jolin, Fantasy (a liiittle bit more mellow but super kawaii gay pride MV), The Great Artist, Black-haired Beautiful Girl, uhhh... That's all I can remember off the top of my head.

Jolin might have a solo concert in Paris as part of her Tour, she said so in 2013, so I'm keeping hope alive lol

I can't believe no one mentioned Pulchritude, Mr Q, Tacit Violence, Dancing Diva, Agent J, Dancing Forever, Bravo Lover or Overlooking purposely o_O (and I could go on)

EDIT III:

Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai under suspicion for possibly plagiarizing TaeTiSeo's 'Twinkle' MV

Currently, Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai is being suspected of possibly plagiarizing TaeTiSeo's "Twinkle" MV with her newly released "PLAY" MV.

Chinese media, Sina, said on November 6, "Currently, there is suspicion that Taiwanese singer, Jolin Tsai, plagiarized TaeTiSeo's 'Twinkle' through her new song, 'Play.'"

In the MV, Jolin Tsai puts her hair into hair rolls to glam up for the red carpet, posing in front of all the adoring paparazzi. However, this scene is allegedly very similar to one in the TaeTiSeo "Twinkle" MV.

Regarding this, her agency stated, "It's not plagiarism at all. Taiwan is not that lacking in creativity to copy such trivial parts like that from Korea."

Check out both MVs below and leave your thoughts!

It's mostly about the red carpet scene ... I love TTS but it's not like they invented the red carpet ...

Lol well for me Jolin has no EDM song so... XD It's a cover of a Taiwanese song, and it can be translated as "Dare To Go To The Cemetery" XD

True lol, she's at her best with upbeat songs. I love Overlooking purposely so much!! Dancing Diva and Pulchritude also
Can you guys tell me what Pulchritude means? I always wondered.
Also, can you tell me where I can find Dancing Forever? I listened to all her studio albums but I do not know this song

And Pulchritude's Chinese title, 玩美, means perfection.

Because it's in a mini-album of hers Dancing Forever is not considered as part of her discography. You'll find it in Dancing Forever (2 CD + DVD). 2nd CD contains remixes, and the DVD Dancing Diva Celebration Concert.
You are missing a lot of you only listened to her studio albums!

EDM has become a blanket term for pretty much any pop song with electronic elements these days, so I wouldn't consider Pulchritude, Mr. Q, any of her older songs etc. to really fall into that category.

But stuff from MUSE and to a lesser extent Myself definitely does. That's why all the songs I recommended were from that album and not from her older works (even though I love almost all her upbeat songs really), since I figured he's looking more for stuff that falls into the modern EDM category and less into the dated mid-2000's hip-hop dance pop category.

thanks for the clarification

Any idea who are the top 3 pop female singers in Taiwan? Do they have any "crown" or something like Japan does (Ayu-Namie-Utada) ?

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but these 3 I guess: Jolin, A-Mei, Elva.
Jolin is called "The Diva" if I'm not mistaken.

I've only listened one song from A-mei along with its pv and I was amazed by the beauty of the pv. But the song was boring. And Elsa I didn't listen yet. No Rainie?
I'll never understand why these t-pop singers insist on bland ballads X___X

ps - I was sure that Jolin is the diva lol

Because that's what sells

Rainie is famous in Taiwan but she's not really a star like Jolin, A-Mei, Elva or Stefanie Sun.

Ballads are great from like Amei cause she just has such a powerful, moving voice (sorry, I'm biased cause I practically grew up on her music since I was born haha)

But for singers who are not really known for their vocals, their ballads are a bit bland. I just prefer Jolin's upbeat stuff.

But I think lyrics play a bit part in ballads. People go to karaoke and sing all these ballads when they break up and you just relate more to songs if you're at that stage. Granted, for those that don't know the language, you won't have that connection when you listen.

I think it is A-Mei who is called "Diva of Taiwan"

I totally agree!
I love C-pop, I do not even care if the song is upbeat or ballad. It just must be good, however Jolin's ballads are usually a bit bland for me. They are not bad, but she doesn't have a voice strong enough to sing some powerful ballad (like A-mei, for example).
