I LOVE THE COVERS SO MUCH THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL GOD

I can already tell I'm gonna like this album more than X, I'm really liking some of the previews (from EDGE to Rapunzel, Marionette, Hajimari no Basho). I reeeally wanna pre-order now, but I want the CD+DVD version, and I NEED the bonus poster CDJapan is offering so I'd have to go there, bye bye €€€ I guess. ANYWAY, excited for this album.

Holy pixie cut, Batman!!! I prefer the CD-only cover but it bothers me that there's so much space between Ban-chan and her reflection and yet Ryo's is right underneath him? Why? Previews sound good too. It's good to have more new material coming from them, I didn't really like Mysterious Magic. Sousei sounds soooo gooooood!

... Now that you say it, it does look like Van's floating in the air while Ryo's just sitting on the sky. CAN'T UNSEE. I'm not sure whether I'm more bothered by that or the random flying trash on the CD-only cover??

I didn't really like Mysterious Magic either, it was a really underwhelming comeback. It's a good thing pretty much all the previews sound better than MM or Tidy Beauty.

I don't think we know the baby's name or anything... The only baby-related thing I've seen is this photo from a recording session way back... but at least it's adorable!

Edit: finally looked at the promo pics. Van is on fire but Ryo looks washed out, bored, tired etc. Giving me namie vibes but not good ones.

That's what I thought at first, but if she had jumped there would be more extension through her ankles (like, her toes would be more pointed towards the ground, if that makes sense?)

Finally listened to the previews. I like the title track as always but that's about it.

BRAND NEW DAYS is out! I'm really happy with the album on the whole: it's not among the best of their albums, but all the songs are as good or better than the previews were hinting at, and it's a steady stream of nice songs with enough gems to make the whole album experience totally satisfying. I love EDGE and Sousei so much, definitely the highlights of the album. The title track, Rapunzel, Marionette, Always and Hajimari no Basho are also all good (sidenote: the arrangement in Hajimari no Basho is incredible, it's a shame the melody of the song is not on the same level). I'm even liking Mysterious Magic more now that it's the album opener and flows seamlessly into EDGE! Definitely do not regret preordering and can't wait to get my copy (and the other albums I ordered) from CDJ.

Do As Infinity 16th anniversary new project!

For 16 consecutive weeks a powerful new recording will be released of their own hit songs re-recorded by just the two of them!

This project starts from October 21st and for 16 consecutive weeks there will be a release of re-recordings carefully picked from 16 of Do As Infinity’s singles.

It is the first time in their career that Do As Infinity has done everything from producing to arranging and playing their own instruments.
Their 16 hits and popular songs became acoustic so the most appealing parts - their music, lyrics and high quality live performance - can be delivered directly.

This project reminds you of the charm of Tomiko Ban’s vocal, Ryo Owatari’s guitar and their high quality performance.
The project is called “2 of Us” and it means, “Just us.” [2 of Us] is added after all of the song titles.

This is one of the well-known songs.

I hope they pick Yesterday & Today. That song is so emotional.
