Ayu would you please make me a "wake me up II"? I stopped listening to her for years and stumbled across this song. My Ayu addiction is now stronger than ever lol

I'd be satisfied with a NOW & 4EVA part 2 as well.

That would possibly be called NOW & 4EVA, EVER. I want to have something like progress, song 4 u style.. Great songs but underrated.

Progress is a mini master piece in my opinion. That was another song that helped me get back into Ayu. Watched the Kouhaku performance and when her dress turned into her dances I was like...

I like songs like progress/song 4 u - they remind me of "ligh ver. of MW" XD
And also, I wouldn't mind some FAST rocky/electronish interludes :3
And I won't be dissapointed if album will be similar to Party Queen (no new ballads, variety of songs, 4 PVS -ormore- no "medium filler" songs) Party Queen "scheme" is perfect to me, it's like (miss)understood. Maybe some people don't like the songs as I do, but the playlist/construction of PQ was PERFECT. No boring filler tracks!

Song 4 U is currently one of my favorites of hers. I think it's really pretty and I love her voice. I also loooove Ivy, Petal, and Sweet Scar.

And as for the interludes on NEXT LEVEL, those were some of the things that put that album in my top 3 list. <3 I think I like just about everything about that album. I'm way too excited about FINALLY buying my own copy (which will be here tomorrow).

Anyway...

...I really don't know what I'm hoping for when it comes to her new material coming out. I have no real huge expectations but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I loved Colours to pieces but I would prefer that she did something different. I liked Colours standing out in her discography as the most western-pop sounding album.

I'm halfway expecting her next album to feature some rock tunes and stuff.

Have you heard Tell All? NOW & 4EVA was kind of like, Tell All: The Sequel so it might be right up your alley.

aughhhhhh The Judgement Day is THE BEST. The AT2008 version was freaking amazing.

Haha! That's what I said earlier....
Tasking, taskinst and taskebab (+task'n'bass for the style) are plagiarized, or at least, have already known samples.

For those who wonder :
Tasking = Hande Yener - Hayrola
Taskinst = Hoobastank - Don't tell me
Taskebab = Daft Punk - Aerodynamic (but it's not really plagiarism -> it's just the same sample that has been bought and used)
(Task'n'bass resembles JUSTICES's music)

Awesome! I haven't really given that song a good listen yet. Slowly but surely going through Ayu's post-NEXT LEVEL material (where I left off several years ago) but I feel like I've missed many gems. Thank you for the recommendation!! :-)

And while we're talking about interludes, I just gotta say I love "Not yet" the most. Hell, the whole Secret album is one of my favorites by Ayu.

Not yet is absolutely phenomenal, inspired to listen to it as I type this. I find it somewhat 'fire', haha, love it. Majority of her interludes are chronic quite frankly.

Definitely getting the vibe that ayu is delving deep into work, a striking album is going to be delivered I'm hoping.

I don't care what sound she'll deliver, I just want new album. Omg, spring album by ayu is great. I believe that it won't be similar to Colours since she always takes a different route after her previous release.
Although I kinda want ayu to play a little bit with sounds like in RnRC (like Sexy Little Things, Don't Look Back, Microphone etc.)
Her spring albums (Next Level, RnRC, Party Queen, Colours too - cuz we basically had the tracks since May) are kinda varied in style so I'm really curious.
