I'm just listening to Japonesque right now and Everyday is definitely sounding better than it did then. I think the Bon Voyage Tour performance helped!

I also don't mind Brave. At least the PV is pretty.

The only ballads that I don't really like are Ashita e... and Alive. I just can't. Boring since the first second.
My favorites are: come back, Rain, magic ♥, Taisetsu na Kimi e, Promise, Milk Tea, Unmei (the climax of this song... Dear gosh, amazing), stay with me, No Way and Ai wo Tomenaide. Probably a couple more than that, but those are the ballads that I remember the most.

I always hope for a new song that are acapella, like Best Friend of Mine, it's just so pretty.

I still think Yume no Uta is kumi's best ballad. Even Moon Crying is good too. Actually it should be high up (moon crying) because of the piano riff.

^ I love those songs too!
but I also really like Kiseki and of course millions of others she has done it's actually difficult to decide on one favorite or the best one since they all have something that makes them such good songs

Is Futari de... considered a ballad? I love that song to death. Kuu's basic ass would leave it off Black Cherry though.

What about hands and Believe?! I also really like Aishou. However, I think my favorite Kuu ballad is Pearl Moon. Pure perfection.

I can honestly say that when it comes to kumi ballads, I love the majority of them. But for some odd reason I cant get in to AI NO UTA!!! I've tried to love it cause is a beautiful ballad, but I cant .

Agreed.

However, my favorite Kuu ballads are all the ones from Feel My Mind. I love that album in general, but the ballads are really stellar. And I would say I'm more of a Kuu fan for her upbeat tracks. But, Hana takes me places emotionally that no other song can.

What about the urban kiss version? I'm always trying to sell that one, lol. But it's because I also disliked ai no uta, a lot. However, the arrangement really did wonders for me. I find it superior in every way imaginable.

^the Urban Kiss version is really nice! But then again, I don't mind the original to being with.
I'm team flower. That ballad is great!
Also you, Yume no Uta, Kiseki, Aishou, and Anata Dake ga.

I really find her mid tempos are my favourites though. So, Walk of my Life feeling more like a mid-tempo ballad has me really excited for the overall flavour of this album!

I don't think MORE is a ballad (guess it's more of a mid-tempo), but GOD that song drives me crazy. Also you, hands , Hana and come back. Unmei and Yume no uta not far behind.
Also, there's the Suki de remix on DH4 (?) which is AMAZING. The original song should have sounded like that (for those who haven't listened to it, do it!)

This talk made me realize how many good ballads Kuu has, a shame a handful only get (over)performed... I'd give everything for her to hold a Symphony-like concert this year, which ballads and rearrangements

I agree. Feel my mind has her best ballads yet. Rain, Hana, Sweet Love, Gentle Words and magic are so beautiful.

"Hands" is great and so is "you" doesn't seem like there's much love for it though.
