the phenomenon of international tiff-shaming when will it stop what has this girl done to any of you ugh... I really love party the MV is so pretty, and the song is summery and fun I love it (achieved an all-kill btw and is #1 on melon since release pretty much, I mention melon in particular because the koreans seem to always look at this one, video already has 3M+ views in 16 hours)

And about this "trying something new" thing, they aren't some sort of experimental Japanese band or something they're still an idol group idk if this goes over some people's heads sometimes + they have 3 title tracks and this is just one of the 3 songs, they obviously wanted to show 3 different types of songs here, Party is the cute summery song, lion heart seems to be the sophisticated track or smth (from what I can see in the teaser) and you think seems to be the upbeat dance track. Also seohyun said they don't have any part in their music creation so don't blame them if they don't have any "new" or "innovative" tracks, idk but I don't even expect anything like that from them..

^ There's a HUUUGE difference between "not on the cutting edge of pop music" and "bland and forgettable, rookie-grade track" lol

SNSD obviously get no input into their music, so the fault lies on SM for giving them ass songs. It's not exactly a personal jab to say the song sucks.

tbh Party just is not good enough to be a comeback track for Korea's biggest girl group. It's kind of embarrassing actually lol

Also; tiff hate- thats quite funny - this is the only "place" I've seen where is isn't a celebrate goddess. On the reddit SNSD community she is always in the top 3 favorites, with Tae and sunny. I was (positivly) suprised to find that others here on AHS don't care for her either. We don't actively hate or anything - most of us just are just tired of her over exposed face. No point in trying to defend or "get" why she is disliked - she just is. There's always one you like the least in a group. In spice girls for me it was Scary Spice. In GG it's Tiffany

Concerning Party, I like it. It IS a generic J-Pop summer song but I always lower my expectations when seasonal releases come around. All I ask for is that summer songs are carefree, enjoyable, and fun.

Love Check for its sleek, chill 90s R&B bop self.

Damn. Wish I knew how to make avas and sigs cause I need one.

I love Tiffany! I follow the group mainly because of Jessica and Tiffany

^ what chart were you looking at? on the instiz ichart they were #2 at first behind girls day's ring my bell and now they're at #1 and on melon they are #1 since the song came out...

idk maybe it's because wherever I go I only see Tiffany as the most hated member but if that's generally not the case I'm happy about it, her eye-smile makes me smile.

I didn't expect the song to do so well tbh I thought it would be like mr mr and be #1 for a couple of hours and then fall down but no signs of that happening yet, but then again it's too early to say something about the general success of the song, so I'll wait for some weekly charts and see if it has longevity

I wouldn't say Jessica was ever hated...her personality and demeanour was accepted as part of her "chic princess" image.

Tiffany probably received the most hate at the beginning as her "Cali girl" behaviou and mannerisms and such weren't really "Korean friendly".

Boa's FUN should have been this song.

And the Tiff stuff at the beginning, definitely deserves hate lol It was too much.

Best part of the video was Taeyeon being gorgeous.

I don't like PARTY. MV is too plain, really, some summer comebacks this year had better, and seems, bigger budget, lmao. SM's rich ass doesn't want to work. At least they gave EXO proper comeback and music, at least they do music for somebody lmao

I just watched catch me if you can performance...

OMG!!! I'm so happy that they decided to perform it...that song is so hot..especially if they perform it...It can easily win all chart...
Although I found that the camera work on Music Core performance is so trashy and disturbing...too many movement and shaky...

We can see that they use a lot of energy on the dance routine...it's really fast...
Sunny still strugling on Catch me if you can performance, I believe CMIYC is not her fav song to perform.

PARTY will do well on the chart as well..we will see next week.
