The thing is, sometimes I think My Story might be my least favorite of hers but it's totally not. It's an awesome album and I love a ton of the songs on it, it's just the one I never remember and the one I'm always so slow to try and buy. Seriously, I've been in a huge rush to buy her albums, adding at least four of them to my collection this year (I'm on a serious budget, tbh...), but My Story is always the one I forget to buy.

I actually really do love Replace, HOPE or PAIN, and HONEY, btw! I think Replace is a really great song. The only song I just don't like listening to on that album is my name's WOMEN.

The other thing I like about that album is how stinkin' long it is!

No I'm just kidding, and I like those songs, too. I could never get into Duty though. Out of all her older albums, that's the one I'm least likely to listen to. I think I only like a handful of songs on it.

I have a love/hate relationship with MY STORY. When I'm in the mood for a really slick/polished Ayu, it's probably THE Ayu album to spin. That being said, it lacks personality and edge when stacked up against her other albums.

I don't have any Ayu album that I don't like. This is one of the things I love about ayu's music. No least favourites, no fixed favourites. Although I have to admit that my least favourite LP has always been ASFxx. It all depends on mood. Its more like this : masterpieces, great/good songs, usual/not impressive songs and then the songs that we don't like for whatever reason. For example, I have like 2-3 songs that I don't like from Ayu's whole discography.

I can agree with @Surreal17 though, with Ayu songs and albums in general it all depends on mood.

I cannot listen to MY STORY all the way through. It's so bloated and there are songs on there that are mind numbingly bland and boring. CAROLS, Inspire, Game, About You, Liar and Hope or Pain are great. For me, MY STORY marks the start of Ayu's descent into bloating her albums with filler.

That's a nice topic for me to make on of my first posts in this forum. Hello everyone!

I also don't really have a (least) favorite Ayu album. It really depends on my mood which songs and therefore which album I like the most. I rarely listen to her albums all the way through anyway (only when a new album is released). I have a list of all the songs I currently like on my player and listen to them randomly...
My opinions of her albums also change every now and then. I used to hate Party queen when it was released, especially the song itself, but it is on of my favorites now.

I love HONEY! I can't believe all the hate for this song.

My favourite from A One is TSMGO, with Out of Control coming second.

Ranking Ayu's albums, I find quite hard as a lot of them are on the same level for me, although I can say the one I would rank 1 is (miss)understood.

I am one of those people who just...loves her music to pieces. Like, I can pretty much listen to any of her music. I only strongly dislike...like three or four songs she's ever done which are Teens, How Beautiful You Are, WARNING, and Sayonara, though I don't hate WARNING too much now.

This sums up me! There are only a few songs I either sometimes go out of my way not to listen to or I can't stand being:

Love ~Destiny~
Kanariya (although the Acoustic Orchestra version almost saves it for me)
Curtain Call
How Beautiful You Are

I don't think I have heard Teens in full only a clip which didn't do much for me. I should really buy it to add to my collection, although it could be added to the above list.

My Story was just about to be released (or maybe just released) when I became her fan. So it holds a lot of nostalgia for me. But, even still, without that, I still loooooooooove it! HONEY is my least favorite song on it but there are still times I find myself singing it sometimes. HOPE or PAIN and HAPPY ENDING were my anthems for a while and even to this day every time they come on I get that same feeling I felt when I first heard it.

I can't with this MY STORY blasphemy. She released PLENTY WORSE afterwards. Not all the songs on MY STORY are show-stealers, but none of them are terrible. That's more than I can say for practically every album that followed.

Also, HONEY is actually amazing. The arrangement is wicked fun, and her cute voice isn't nearly as annoying as when she tried to mimic it years later (Thank U and lives come to mind).

MY STORY has a bit of everything: elegance, attitude, heartache, loneliness, happiness, thankfulness, and bliss. It's also the only album that doesn't have the sound of district time period/era, giving it the illusion of sounding current 10+ years after its release. And you can fucking SWIM in the depth of those arrangements!! I don't have the energy to defend it as strongly as I used to, but I could drag y'all through the mud if I had to.

One negative thing I will say about it though: the interludes are overrated as fuck.

On another topic, I don't know if that's cause of the album itself or because tons of music from other artists came out shortly afterwards it, but I have grew over sixxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx much sooner than I could expect. Just yesterday I couldn't recall the name of all tracks

It did kinda disappear into the thick of things, didn't it? I mean, I still enjoy it but it definitely gave off that HEYHERE'SAMINIALBUMNOWITSGONEOKAYBYEEEE! type of feeling. I remember Step by Step and Sorrows. Though SbS is the only one I remember how it actually goes. But only a little bit.

When I read this I thought: how on earth could you forget the names of five tracks. Then I remembered why it was called sixxxxxx and it took me a while to remember all the tracks
